Marine life in and around the islands of Honduras is healthy and abundant. Whale sharks, which are becoming rare in other areas of the Caribbean migrate through Honduran waters every year from February to June, peaking in February, May and June. These majestic creatures really are the stars of the show in Honduras. If you have never dived with a Whale Shark, Honduras is a great place to start! Whilst scuba diving in Honduras you will also encounter some dramatic coral and rock formations. This wonderful topography is home to a host of exotic marine life from the smallest critters to all the regular favourites including large groupers, moray eels, jacks, manta rays and more.

Honduras has much to offer scuba divers and is certainly one of the highlights in the wide range of Caribbean diving destinations. Whilst the best diving is found within the Bay of Islands , mainland Honduras also has plenty to offer those looking for a cultural extension. Mayan ruins, jungle treks, white water rafting and more, if you would like to discuss your next adventure please contact the scuba diving experts.
