    St Lucia is an independent coutry on the border of the atalntic ocean and the south east caribbean.

    Weather & Water Temperature:

    Since Saint lucia is close to the equator the temperature does not vary much over the year. December to June is considered Dry season and June to November is Rainy season. Average temperatur in the air is around 28-29 in the day and around 18 at night.

    The Water temperature around St Lucia averages around 27-28 degrees with a dip to 27 in February and a top around 29 october. The visibility in the water around St Lucia is usually very good apart from just after major storms. Due to the currents around the island bad visibility is usually cleared away quickly.

    Electricity:

    Brittish 220 volt.

    Tipping:

    10% service charge is usually expected in hotels and restaurants. If you are unsure what to give please do hesitate to speak with the local dive guide or contact us.

    Visas:

    British nationals are not required to have a visa for stays in st Lucia.

    Food & Drink:

    The biggest form of health problems with divers and tourists alike is being dehydrated. Please drink plenty of water before and after a dive as well as throughout the day. We also advise that you don’t drink the local water and only drink bottle water and wash all fruit beforehand.

    Health & Vaccinations:

    Requirements vary from country to country, your own GP is the best person to speak to regarding relevant requirements. Make your GP aware that you will be scuba diving, as some medication is not recommended for Scuba divers.

    Clothing:

    Lightweight natural fabrics, Swimwear should not be used around the public areas of the hotel.

    Passports:

    For travel to Saint Lucia, passports must have a least six (6) months validity from the date of return from Saint Lucia. This is not discretionary and therefore visitors and nationals are advised to renew their passports in advance of travel to avoid any unnecessary hassle..
