Due to the weather conditions, there are different itineraries on offer throughout the year. Our winter months are perfect for discovering West Colombo and Kalpitiya. Snorkel with whales and dolphins between March & April or September & October. The tek diving itinerary on the East costs opens up for May and June only.
Depending on the itinerary you choose the highlights will either be of the Wreck or the Whale variety and sometime both!
- Blue whales, Sperm Whales, Humpback Whales, Beaked Whales, Melon Headed Whales, Pilot Whales, False Killer Whales and up to eight species of Dolphin.
- HMS Hermes aircraft carrier, HMS Hollyhock and RFA Athelstane. With over 200 wrecks, 50 are identified as excellent or world class dives.
- 5 dives per day, night diving when available; on the West Colombo & Northwest Kalpitiya.

Each area of Sri Lankan on land is quite different and you can easily add a few extra nights at the end of a trip. We can tailormake a bespoke itinerary for you if you want to see more of Sri Lanka on land as well as underwater. It’s also an ideal stop over point en route to or from the Maldives. You do need a visa for Sri Lanka but this can be obtained online prior to travel or on arrival for most European passport holders.
