The Civil Aviation Authoritys ATOL (Air Travel Organisers’ Licence) scheme is instantly recognisable to consumers and offers full protection for air travel or air-inclusive travel.
Scuba Travel hold an ATOL licence issued by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 5667
ATOL is a financial protection scheme for holidaymakers. If an ATOL tour operator fails, the ATOL scheme ensures customers contracted with the ATOL holder for an air package or a flight, do not lose the money paid over or are not stranded abroad.
Holiday Packages NOT Including Air Travel from the UK:
As a member of the Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT), Scuba Travel has provided a bond to meet the requirements of the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992. In the event of insolvency, protection is provided for non-flight packages commencing in and returning to the UK and other non-flight packages excluding pre arranged travel to and from your destination. Please note that packages booked outside the UK are only protected when purchased directly with Scuba Travel. In the above circumstances, if you have not yet travelled you may claim a refund, or if you have already travelled, you may claim repatriation to the starting point of your non-flight package.
One sure way of knowing your holiday is fully protected is by booking with an ATOL member.
