Diving is one of those sports that really everyone can do and without a doubt this includes those with disabilities. Floating along a reef or wreck overflowing with life in simply inspirational. And as you surface from a dive that thrills, the sense of individual accomplishment is enormous, as well as sharing that enjoyment with your dive buddy. We offer a range of scuba diving holidays which have been selected not only for the outstanding diving but also for the comprehensive facilities on offer. Each of our holiday options has been recognised for their accessibility, specially trained instructors and of course warm welcome. We work closely with divers, understanding that every person will have their own individual requirements and goals for their holiday. Be it assistance at the airport, extra baggage, accessible rooms or private instructors, no detail is forgotten in our bid to ensure that our personal service is matched by the awesome diving that awaits.

  • Camel Dive & Hotel
    Camel hotel is one of Sharm’s premier dive clubs and hotels and is well known for its friendly club atmosphere (and apres dive!). They are proud to hold a PADI accessibility award and are one of the few hotels in Sharm which have full wheelchair access in all public areas. There is a core of experienced instructors who are members of the Handicapped Scuba Association but all training is currently completed under PADI. These guys have the specialised know how to adapt the standard PADI courses to enable students with all levels of disability to get blowing bubbles!

    Royal Evolution is a one of kind liveaboard in the Red Sea with holidays both in Egypt and Sudan throughout the year. A luxurious build, 2 of the main deck cabins have been designed to cater for divers with disabilities including some wheelchair users.     The Mar Y Sol in Tenerife have long promoted holidays without barriers in Tenerife. Every aspect of the hotel has been designed with disabled customers in mind. Every room is accessible, the pools have hoists and there is no end of equipment for hire to help you get around all the more easily (including adapted beach buggies and golf carts!). The team at AquaMarine a frequent hosts for disabled divers and have even custom built a wheelchair to assist with RIB entry at the shoreline! The team all have the Disability Awareness certification from BSAC.

The Back Up Trust

Back Up is a charity working with those suffering from spinal cord injuries. Established in 1986 by the former skiing freestyle champion Mike Nemesvary, Back Up originally focused on skiing courses specifically for those affected by spinal cord injury. Today however, their work covers all aspects of life, from mentoring, sharing wheelchair skills and organising a huge range of activities for everyone of all ages. read more here

Silent Bubbles exist to support deaf divers. As many of the instructors are themselves deaf, they really do know what it is like to be in a classroom and not quite follow what is being said.
