A week on the Contessa Mia was a fantastic experience. The diving was excellent, the dive guides (Sammy and Hanny) were superb (very professional as well as being great fun and always at the beck and call of anyone who needed help), there was always copious amounts of good food available and the crew were very friendly and ultra-attentive to all our needs. They each seemed to possess a 6th sense in that whenever I needed a hand with a piece of kit one of them would instantly appear beside me to help out. Many thanks. Tom

We had a excellent trip on board contessa mia. The crew and dive guides were superb - special mention should go to sammy who is perhaps the best dive guide I have ever had. The dive sites were varied and generally very good and we were lucky enough to see a school of hammerhead sharks and several oceanic whitetips. All in all a fantastic week's trip. Sam

I sailed on the Contessa Mia to St. Johns and the South from 28th October to 3rd November. Accommodation was good, spacious enough and clean. The crew were always friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was excellent and there was even a roast turkey for the last nights gala dinner. The diving was also excellent with several close encounters with oceanic white tips. I was not initially impressed with the idea of cave diving at Fury Shoals having dived a number of fairly uninteresting caves in the Mediterranean. However these cave dives were very different and very rewarding. Our two dive guides, Hanni and Sammy (I hope that Ive spelled their names correctly), were the best that Ive experienced, a wonderful double act but with very precise briefs. Altogether we had an excellent trip, which I rate as my best liveaboard experience ever. Roger
