Cyclone has long been a favourite with UK divers for exporing the magnificent wrecks and lavish reefs of the Egyptian Red Sea. Winning "Liveaboard of the Year" in 2003, Cyclone has undergone several upgrades over the years, keeping her up to the same exceptional standards as the rest of the fleet. Designed by divers and expertly crewed, Cyclone retains a welcoming atmosphere and it this that draws divers back to her year after year for their hard earned Red Sea holiday.
Cyclone is 32m from bow to stern and her sturdy wood hull is a stable home away from home. 20 divers can be easily accommodated over 10 twin cabins. For your complete comfort, all of the cabins are en suite, have individual air con and plenty of space to stow your belongings for the week. There are 2 twin cabins on the main deck, 6 twin cabins below decks and 2 bow cabins which have bunks. All cabins are pre-allocated at the time of booking.
Cyclone features the tried and tested lay out of all Tornado Marine Fleet vessels. The all important dive deck is spaciously laid out so everyone can kit up without fighting for space. Head to the main deck dining room at meal times and an outstanding feast awaits. The upstairs saloon is complete with bar and plasma screen is a focal point at the end of the day or during surface intervals. Or escape from it all on extensive sun deck, complete with sun beds and jacuzzi. Cyclone is a true Red Sea classic liveaboard that easily meets the high standards of Scuba Travel's modern Red Sea liveaboards.

Great boat, we couldn't have asked for a better one. Nothing was too much trouble. We were more or less privately guided all week. Joanne Gleeson

What was very good on the boat was the structure and balance of inside/outside areas, and shaded/sunny areas, all of which are quite important in the climate of Egypt. Will definitely come again! Emily Korteweg

Reda and Ahmed worked very well together, excellent briefings and attention to safety was very impressive. The whole tornado crew are a great team always happy to help and lots of smiles. Don't change guys, we love you all. Paula & Dave

I have enjoyed the diving this week with the guides allowing unguided diving where appropriate, dive briefs are comprehensive and the photos provide a good way of planning your dive beforehand. The crew as always are attentive and it has been nice to find old friends still onboard! Greg

Really well layed out. Lots of room to relax between dives, excellent sized dining and lounge room, and plenty of sun-deck space for the tan! Also very clean, and totally ship-shape. Looks in much better condition that some of the other boats we moored alongside. Zoe

Spacious cabins considering the size of the boat, well thought out and clean and tidy, individual room air conditioning that works.. Nicely laid out dive platform, lots of space to kit up, fin up, enter the rib or sea and equally good ladders for exiting after a dive. Lot of space to sit inside or outside, not cramped, good dining area too. David & Julie

Have you ever heard of Gordon Ramsey??? The food on the Cyclone is better and I have been going back not for seconds but for thirds. Seriously. The chef has a very hard job cooking for 20 each day and should be congratulated. Michelle & Tom

The guides and crew were very helpful and friendly. They made us feel both spoilt and also as if we were at home. Their attention to the small details such as helping you put on your suits and gear as well as the nice touches such as hot drinks when you get back on board the boat. The briefings were very informative and comprehensive and made you aware of exactly what can be expected on the dive. Nick & Saket

This was my first time on a liveaboard so wasn’t really sure what to expect. I've been very pleasantly surprised through, the rooms were cosy and the beds were comfy. Everything was kept really really clean too. Plenty of room to kit up and hang kit to dry. Hanah & Andy

Perfect balance of attention. Ive dived the red sea over a dozen times on day boats and livaboards and we like to do our own thing – the guides were great with this no problem, others wanted to be guided that too was fine. The guests were split up in a very effective manner for each dive. The crew were outstanding, very hard working and always a smile. A joy to be on this boat. Stuart

I have had the pleasure of being a guest on a Reda and Sameh liveaboard previously and they have been great again. The crew have been fantastic very friendly and helpful – a credit to the Tornado Fleet. Yet again it is the dive guides and crew that transform a good holiday into a great holiday. Fiona Henderson

Crew are an asset to the fleet and should be rewarded. Time for a big raise! Not a single cause for complaint. Great people! Adam

More great reefs where we saw a reef shark followed shortly after by an eagle ray passing through, come across a nice cave at the sandy bottom filled with life and the light shining from above, amazing photos. Chrisoula K is a great wreck which we enjoy every time we return to the Red Sea. Michael & Hayley

Thislegorm dives today. Been there before but always want to go back. This time around the viz is good. We made two dives today on the wreck. One day dive and a dusk dive. Especially liked the dusk dive. Good decision by the crew. We were the only divers down there. Had a great dive, saw a lot of nice animals. Looking forward to the dive tomorrow. Erwin van der Velde

Val and Sameh were really great on this trip. They have been perfectly attentive and quickly understood who wanted what from the dives. In between dives they have also been great with extra conversations about the wrecks and dive sites. The crew (as always) have been fabulous Kates

Loved the boat, its always clean and tidy and kept to a really high standard, it has all the modern tech that you would want but at the same time keeping everything simple. The cabins were lovely really loved no.9 with so much light and great views, better than any expectation. Hannah & Mike

I was apprehensive with the first dives not having an extensive amount of experience but guides were awesome and quickly made me feel confident to do all of the dives – great sense of humour – and excellent guides on each of the dives Maxine

The briefings were comprehensive and the computer presentation excellent. The dive guides, Tamer and Sameh, were so helpful, kind and thoughtful that it was a pleasure to be with them. They helped us to relax and as the week progressed we enjoyed our dives more and more. The staff on the boat were super helpful always ready with a smile and a helping hand when you needed it.
