Sail on Mistral for your next Red Sea liveaboard for a week to remember. Mistral is the very latest liveaboard in a long line of award winning vessels from Tornado Marine Fleet and her quality is evident from bow to stern. Attention to detail here is key and Mistral has been lovingly laid out to optimise space on board with super speedy engines to make sailing supremely comfortable. She boasts a host of extra facilities to make your week all the more enjoyable so jump aboard today!

Mistral has four double cabins located on the upper deck and eight twin cabins on the lower deck. Each generously sized cabin has a modern en-suite bathroom, individual controlled A/C and safety deposit. The upper cabins have one large double bed and the lower cabins have a large double lower bunk with an additional single upper bunk bed. All cabins have ample storage space and vanity unit. If you have a cabin preference just remember to ask at the time of booking.

The luxurious feel extends to the communal areas. The saloon is decked out with a plasma screen - ideal from comprehensive briefings. There are no less than 2 sun decks. The first sun deck is covered with a bar area and jacuzzi. The upper sun deck is vast and has plenty of space for everyone to lounge out. Photographers will love the dedicated camera room on the dive deck with rinse tanks and air gun. And technical divers will benefit from high pressure gas blending (including trimix). Ntirox is available for fills up to 36%. The extravagantly fast 1150Hp engines allow Mistral to get to the next dive site quickly and with 2 powerful RIBS, you will be the envy of others as you whisk past. The steel hull complements her speed and Mistral is incredibly stable in the water (ideal if you have not found you sea legs!). All in, Mistral is a welcome addition to the superb fleet of Red Sea liveaboards Scuba Travel offer and with such excellence, why book anything else!

Fantastic food has been on offer all week, with a great variety available at each meal. The meals and the snacks that have been provided throughout the week have been delicious and our thanks go to all of the catering staff aboard. Alex & Taryn

Reda and Sharif did an excellent job maintaining order, explaining the boat rules, doing the briefing before each dive, leading the divers through their dives and making sure all were safe, and attending to all diver's questions. I could not have asked for more professional and friendly diving guides. Mihanad & Zeid

21 August 2014

Reda and Sherif are fantastic guides. The briefs are packed full of really useful information to make all the dives easy and pleasurable for all levels of diver - and even sometimes include an alternative plan just in case. Reda's knowledge especially is exceptional. Safety is also second to none, with everyone looked after right from the new diver to the most experienced. Rachel

Mistral is the first liveaboard I have been on and I'm very impressed! The boat was kept extremely clean, very comfortable and great facilities. The light blew in our cabin and was changed immediately - good service. Drew

Never been on a liveaboard before but Mistral blew my expectations out the water! Really comfortable cabin which I can't fault. Very spacious around the boat and completely spotless. Crew are VERY attentive, especially on the dive deck before and after dives. Very friendly and great to laugh and have a banter with! Genuinely can't fault the boat at all. Can't think of anything more I'd ask for. Ross

Mistral is a beautiful boat, definitely the best looking of any of the boats we were moored alongside. The crew keep it spotless and everything appears to run smoothly, cabins have plenty of space, and the dive deck is well laid out. Even with a full boat, there is plenty of space for everyone. Kaye

Just back from our trip on the Mistral and I must say we had an absolutely amazing week. Brilliant crew and guides and a fab bunch of guests. Not to forget the excellent diving!!! So much so that we're looking at potentially booking another trip for next year. Just looking at a trip on the Whirlwind. Do you happen to know what the differences are to the Mistral? Also wouldn't mind to have Ahmed Halmosh again as a guide, but I guess that's planned much closer to the dates. Only point that was missing is that I don't think I was made aware that we could have booked Nitrox in advance. I'm guessing that would have been slightly cheaper. Thanks again for your help, Daniela Dani

Fantastic food, and plenty of variety. Always well presented and plenty. Pete & Jade

12 August 2014

Ahmedís knowledge and experience of the area is very extensive and this clearly shows! Crew- They cannot do enough for every single guest, their knowledge, attitude and work ethic is spot on. They are fun, friendly and clearly happy to be here. Lindsey & Laura

12 August 2014

Guides and crew couldnít be any more helpful, can the crew come home with us to help set up when diving? Guides are excellent, would miss a lot on a dive without them! Stuart & Kevin

12 August 2014

My first live-aboard and so I was simply hoping for a decent standard. My expectations were exceeded! Twin cabins are rather on a small side but loads of space in the saloon and mid and top deck. Very clean, well looked after and maintained. Spacious and quite cosy at the same time. Anna & Manfredas

12 August 2014

Excellent boat, plenty of space for everyone. In case of any issues the crew will sort it. Dani & Colin

08 August 2014

As always crew and guides excellent, like old friends! Lana & Angie

08 August 2014

Turtles, extraordinary marine life around the barge, giant moray swimming free, rays of various types. The instructors were able to qualify Amy for advanced and nitrox during the week, thanks! Richard & Amy

Well informed and helpful. Being very familiar with all the dive sites they were very good at pointing out the most interesting things and clearly identified any potential hazards on each dive. Adrian Byrne

09 July 2014

Great fun, guides were good at pointing out areas of interest on the wrecks or marine life. Crew were very helpful and good fun. Sarah & Heidi

Great. Comfortable, very stable, well laid out. Steve Riddell

30 June 2014

The best crew we have experienced on Red Sea liveaboards for helpfulness, efficiency and safety, catering for Mariaís extra needs during water entry/exit. The guides were extremely experienced, giving excellent briefs on dive sites, entry/exit on wrecks and safety. All the staff always helpful with a smile, nothing too much trouble. Steve & Maria

30 June 2014

Very stable, safe and comfortable boat. Good facilities with most things you want. A better internet would be a bonus. John & Margaret

30 June 2014

An excellent boat with good facilities and a good routine. A very good choice for my first liveaboard. Alex

20 June 2014

Just finished Wrecks & Reefs on Mistral. Overall an excellent week. Guides Adel & Spencer very good. Spencer excellent as a guide and Adel gave best briefings we have ever had. Food got better as week went on, Itinerary very good except Emperor Fraser wreck. Please remove it. All it is is a dump - rubbish everywhere and reef around it is not good. Crew excellent and always on hand to help. Nothing too much trouble for them. Kim Price

I just wanted to send you a through a lovely review from my FANTASTIC Totally Wrecked week aboard Mistral. And if you could guarantee me a whale shark every single time I travel with you, that would be awesome. Every single member of crew made us feel welcome, relaxed and superbly well looked after. The guides, Adel and Spencer, are fantastic and I felt in safe hands learning the Deep Diving course with Spencer. And a massive thank you to Captain Ammar for not only spotting the whale shark mid crossing but for stopping and letting us have a snorkel with him. Jane Carnell

I am a vegetarian, and on previous trips, I have had to make do with a selection of veg/rice/side dishes from the buffet. However, for every meal, the chef prepared me a special dish, and these were varied and delicious. Greg Roach

27 May 2014

The guides are clearly very experienced. They are both also very helpful, fun, organised and competent. They are a pleasure to dive with and I couldn't fault them at all. Many thanks to both of them for making this a great trip! Chris Joy

With this type of holiday the ambience is crucial to one's enjoyment and without a professional and affable crew it can easily become a tedious experience. But Manon and Yasser we excellent and well informed guides. They were silly when it was appropriate and serious when safety was to be a concern. They were easy to talk to and fun to eat with. Certainly a trip I would recommend to a friend. Ivan Markovic

27 May 2014

Upgraded to Mistral from Cyclone, pleased about that as its a steel hull giving much more comfortable crossings. Boat kept in good order, clean and easy to use kit setup area with plenty of space. John Titmus

27 May 2014

The boat is more spacious than first imagined as despite a number of dives and trips this is my first liveaboard trip. The cabins are quite nice and deck areas well laid out with enough sun and shade areas for all. Amelia Welker

22 May 2014

The food was fantastic and as a vegetarian I found I was not lacking for options. The chef even prepared special meals for me which was lovely. The variety as brilliant lots of different vegetables every day and rice, chips, potatoes. The food really was of an excellent quality. Fiona

22 May 2014

All the crew were exceptional in their jobs very informative dive briefings nothing was to much trouble a very joyful and happy atmosphere dive guide Manon a very nice lady maybe needs a little more confidence. Adel one of the best dive guides I've come across , when we come back we will be looking out for his boat when booking Kerry & Steve

22 May 2014

Great guides and awesome knowledge. The dive briefings, where brought alive and much better than the usual white board drawings that are provided on other boats. It's always interesting to know the history of the area that you're diving. Nick B
