Whirlwind has to be one of our favourite Red Sea liveaboards. This is 5 star Red Sea diving at affordable prices... just one of the reasons UK divers keep coming back to this superior liveaboard. She has a well deserved reputation for the quality of finish on board, her long standing crew are the definition of attentive and she has all the award winning hallmarks of Tornado Marine fleet (from the decor to the tasty food)! Whirlwind is a generous 36m from bow to stern and at 8m across, there is ample space for all 20 guests. There are 10 cabins in total, all with twin beds, en suite, air con and safe. The storage is plentiful and the showers are some of the most powerful you will find on a boat! There are 4 cabins on the main deck which are preallocated at the time of booking with no additional surcharge.

Whirlwind has everything the modern diver could want on board. The dive deck is one of the most impressive aspects - no more kitting up in a crowd on this boat! There is a camera table, 2 rinse tanks and plenty of space for all your dive kit. Whirlwind is also rebreather friendly and can pump oxygene and helium mixes (please just let us know at the time of booking). And for your relaxation between dives, there are 2 sundecks and the jacuzzi. Catch some rays, relax with a book or enjoy the hot tub. The saloon is kitted out with a modern entertainment system and a well stocked bar. Quite simply no element of this liveaboard has been overlooked. From sun up to sun down, Whirlwind is the perfect home away from home in the Egyptian Red Sea.

Beautiful boat, well maintained, comfortable, lovely sunny decks, bar area with dvd player, kept very clean throughout, rooms checked & cleaned numerous times a day. Guides were absolutely lovely and funny. Very helpful getting prepared for dives and post dives, cleaning up after us all the time. Practical jokers!! Hannah & Hannah

Food has been exceptionally good. Our plates have been empty at the end of every meal. Turkey on Christmas Day was a treat. Loved the hummus and salads. Everyone has been fantastic. Our guides, Reda and Sameh, so knowledgeable and patient. The crew was very friendly and accommodating. There was always a helping hand when getting kitted up and coming in from a dive. This was my third trip on Whirlwind and it just gets better every time. The crew and guides are always helpful. The food is plentiful and tasty. Even when full there is plenty of space on the dive deck. Add 15 minutes diving with three loveable dolphins following you just a metre away and this trip becomes even more fantastic. Now I just need to plan when to book my fourth trip on Whirlwind. Michael

First class. Two of the best guides I have ever had. Friendly, helpful, best dive briefs ever. The crew are all brilliant � always there just when you need. Very comfortable boat with all amenities required. Dive deck large and easily accessible � even with a twin set. All staff on the dive deck were extremely helpful, from kitting up to getting back out of the water.
