Say Honduras to most divers and you will get 1 simple word - whalesharks. Yet as thrilling as any encounter with these behemoths might be, this is only attraction to diving in Utila and Roatan. Jump aboard your Honduras liveaboard for a diving holiday that will tick all the boxes. Discover for yourself the beauty of Honduras' wreck diving. Dive down on ships smothered from bow to stern in corals and sponges. The area is peppered with deep sea mounts that divers have only just begun to explore fully. Plunging walls will call you down to the deep whilst hunting out a myriad of macro life on the reef will while away many an hour. This is diving bliss at its best.

The Utila Aggressor has recently been renovated to sleep 18 passengers across 8 deluxe cabins and 1 mater cabin. All have en suite, air con and private DVD TV. The saloon is where the majority of your meals are served but the chef will also prepare snacks for post dive munchies and the BBQ on the sundeck is fired up at least once a week. Stretch out under the hot Honduran sun between dives or grab your camera and look at your pictures on the big screen in the saloon. The dive platform is roomy with a camera table, kit lockers and warm showers. All diving takes place from the boat so entries and exits are easy.

Utila and Roatan are most famous for the whalesharks that congregate each year off the shores. Watch out for the water "boiling" and birds diving into the bait ball as one of these beautiful beasts feeds beneath. Then grab your snorkel and in you go for one of diving's best experiences. Manta and marlin also join the action on occasion. But this is not all that Honduras has to offer divers. Macro lovers will be inspired by the endless critters that nestle on the reef. Octopus, box crabs, long snout sea horses, flat worms, blenny, fringed filefish... these are just some of what awaits. The reefs are healthy and their abundant soft corals draw in hawskbill turtles looking for a meal, as do the parrot fish. Spiraling around the sponges and soft corals you will find explosions of jacks, snapper, angelfish and blue tangs, all competing and chasing around. Still want more? How about some awesome wreck dives at the Halliburton and Aquilla. There are most certainly more than just whalesharks to find in Honduras!
