Komodo is one of Indonesia's most famous islands with the great Komodo dragon being one if the island's most well known inhabitants. Yet there is so much more to Komodo and divers should certainly take notice of this archipelago. Indonesia is recognised as having on of the most biologically diverse marinescapes and Komodo is certainly no exception. Team this with the Komodo Dancer, a modern and simply luxurious liveaboard from the world respected Peter Hughes fleet, and you have a recipe for your dream diving holiday.

The Komodo Dancer sleeps only 16 divers which means there is plenty of space for everyone, no matter how much dive kit you bring! Three different cabin options mean you can select the right choice for your budget, but everyone shares the same lavish living space and dive deck. As part of the Peter Hughes standard, you will be woken up each morning with a coffee in your cabin, warm towels after each dive, a proper sit down diner each night and refreshing drinks from the bar. Food on board is international with some local dishes for sampling. Komodo Dancer is fully equipped for photographers and an onboard computer means you can check your day's efforts.

Komodo Dancer operates 2 different itineraries so you can visit every inch of this enticing region. The marine life is hugely varied but always impressive. Focusing on macro life and the joys of muck diving, Komodo specialises in those weird and wonderful critters that can only be found on the black sand. Frogfish, snake eels, dragonets, candy crabs - these are just a small sampler of what lies beneath the aquamarine waves. Seahorses, nudibranch and no less that 5 types of octopus then follow. Each dive sees a new strange and rare beastie. This is macro diving at its zenith but larger fish are not overlooked. The steep walls and drop offs are also home to whales, tuna, sharks, manta and dolphin. There is almost nothing you can't find with the Komodo Dancer!
