You can dive all year round in the Maldives with constant water temperatures at an inviting 28 degrees. Winter sun is always popular and between November to April it plans to book well in advance. Our summer months are a bit quiet in the Maldives but the weather and diving remains world class. Hanivaru is the hot site at the moment and active with massive manta aggregations between July - November.
Manta are number one on the wish list for most divers and snorkelers visiting the area but you can also find whalesharks, turtles and good macro life on many dive sites. The Maldives is not a wreck diving destination.
- Porcelain crabs
- Clown fish
Top dive sites to visit: Fish Head, Maaya, Vadoo, Hanivaru, Kuredu Caves, Orimas are just a handful of the highlights.
