Monsoon has all the hallmarks of Tornado Marine fleet quality. And this spectacular 36m steel hull motor yacht brings luxury liveaboards to the remote Northern Atolls of the Maldives. Monsoon takes pride of place as the first liveaboard to operate in the northern atolls 80 nautical miles north of male. The crew have hunted out all the best dive sites in this unexplored region of the Maldives including the now famous Hanivaru lagoon.
Monsoon is stable and spacious. The dive deck is vast with more than ample space for all types of divers. Photographers and technical divers can kit up at ease side by side. A Haskel pump delivers custom nitrox blends. Monsoon sleeps 22 guests in twin cabins with en suite, small fridge, safety box and of course air con. After a quick jacuzzi on board and a tasty dinner, the cocktail deck is the place to watch the sun set over the wonderful sea scape of islands and reefs. Monsoon is also one of the few Maldivian liveaboards to use Ribs for total dive flexibility and safety at all times.
Monsoon does not stick to a fixed itinerary, enjoying the best of the Lhaviyani, Raa, Baa and Noonu atolls throughout the year. Over the summer months, Baa atoll is the place to head and witness huge numbers of manta feeding in the plankton filled lagoon of Hanivaru. Other hallowed names such as Fushifaru Kandu or the Kuredu Express are on the itinerary where grey reefs dart through the currents and columns of fish. Monsoon enables you to live the ultimate Maldivian dive adventure knowing you are in expert hands. Shorebased extensions can also be arranged at the end of the trip in case one week just is not enough.

Monsoon has got to be the best liveaboard I've been on! It's a lovely boat, great crew, great food, great diving and fantastic, knowledgeable dive guides - Chris and Heiko. Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon. Thanks. Wendy Wendy Hall

This was my second time on Monsoon. Standard of the boat, food and guides was excellent again. The range and quality of food is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. This is a great way to dive the Maldives, especially if like me you're travelling alone and don't want to be surrounded romantic couples! Fantastic holiday. Claire

It really was a wonderful trip. Everyone on board was very pleasant and I managed to remember to say thank you a lot ( sco re ay), Chris and Heiko were fantastic. Would certainly go with Scuba Travel again, very well organised. We saw pretty much everything - the marine life was abundant and looked amazing what a great trip. Desmond

This trip and its destination was first class throughout. Both dive guides went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure all guests were catered for. The crew very helpful and courteous. All meals were of an extreme quality and always more than enough!!! Would not hesitate to recommend this itinerary and boat to anyone if asked. Thank you Colin

Back from a fabulous week on Monsoon. Best diving holiday we have ever experienced due primarily to the quality and professionalism of the dive guides, Chris and Heiko and the friendliness and helpfulness of the lovely crew. Chris gave superb dive briefings full of enthusiasm and information. It really was a joy to dive with these guys and they were especially helpful since Sheila had to kit up in the water due to a recent neck operation. Highly recommended. Paul Ashley

We have just returned from a fantastic diving week on Monsoon. The boat is laid out in way that gives everyone space and it never feels cramped even on the dive deck which is huge. The boat is run by Chris who is the most knowledgeable person about the boat, Maldives and dive sites. Organisation and flexibililty are the key to Chris and when we struck gold with the Mantas then that was the place to be. Chris and faithful sidekick Heiko were excellent in the water and knew their dive sites. I don't think there was anything we didn't see. Boat crew also great with superb food. The one thing that stands out on this trip was that we felt all went that extra mile for us. Check out the deserted island visit and a meal on another local island cooked by the boats chefs, neither were expected but genuinely appreciated. As I commented at the the end of the week to Chris on behalf of the Scuba and Outdoor divers you "Exceeded our Expectations" ......many thanks Paul & Kate. Paul & Kate Clarke
Baa Raa Noonu Atolls
Baa, Raa and Noonu atolls are infrequently visited by most Maldivian liveaboards, which means scuba diving here is an exploration of the finest quality reefs cushioned in peaceful isolation. Stretching north west from Lhaviyani at...
