Nautilus 1 is the original Nautilus vessel and deserves the quality reputation she has worked so hard for. Operating to the highest standards we have all come to expect, this Maldivian vessel has become the benchmark by which all subsequent liveaboards are measured. Nautilus 1 sits well next to her bigger sister and will feel like a home away from home.

This colourful liveaboard sleeps 14 guests in double and twin cabins and at 30m in length there is more than enough room for everyone on board. The décor is bright yet tasteful and reflects Nautilus 1’s Maldivian origins. Meals are often served al fresco, leaving the saloon and upper decks for relaxing, and no trip is complete without a beach BBQ. Wide and spacious, the traditional design helps to accentuate the relaxed airy feel that permeates this vessel. Nautilus 1 is served by 1 17.5m dhoni from which all the diving takes place.

Nautilus 1 sails on 7 night or 14 night itineraries. The Maldives Discovery and the Maldives Expedition tours both focus on the areas around North and South Male, but the expedition adds a thorough stay in the Ari Atoll as well as further dives in Felidhoo. Both itineraries seek to make sure everyone gets to see what they came for. Nautilus 1 will help you navigate the drifts and walls on what has become a classic tour of the Maldives, famous for the massive manta cleaning stations and grey reef sharks.
