Nautilus 2 is a new name in the Maldives, but like her sister ship Nautilus 1, she has quickly become associated with only the highest standards. Built in 2007 to a traditional Maldivian design, this colourful yacht brings a splash of style to every reef she visits. At 43m from bow to stern there is nothing that this boat cannot offer.
Nautilus 2 has 12 cabins, with 4 doubles and 8 twins. The cabins are enormous and the airy space makes it feel more like a 4* hotel room than a boat. The clever addition of skylights brings in the soft sea breeze. Twin Jacuzzis means that no one need miss out. The wide saloon and dining area serves a mouth-watering selection of local, Asian and European dishes. All diving takes place from the custom built 16m dhoni. These tenders enable access to the best entry points, while ladders make re-entry straightforward.
The Maldives Discovery is a 7 night itinerary that shows you the impressive North and South Male, plus tasters in Felidhoo or Northern Ari atoll. This is where divers can experience such great dives as the 50m deep Lions Head or mind blowing Manta Point. The longer 14 night Maldives Expedition covers all areas and is the best way to really get to see that full beauty of the Maldives. Whether it will be the quality of the diving or the super standards of Nautilus 2 that impresses the most only you can decide.

Nautilus 2 is a fantastic boat and although I was the only English person the trip, those who could speak English made my holiday very special. Special thanks need to go out to the dive guides Ibraham and Deen who were very supportive and helpful and Chris for running a very smooth operation. Please pass this on to the Nautilus 2 team. Many Thanks Melvyn

This boat is BIG, the rooms are massive The Saloon is large with plenty of space & even beer on tap. The deck area is much the same with large shaded seating areas forward and stern, The top sundeck is large enough for a game of football should you wish (well almost). The diving is done from a separate dhoni which made it easy even with some poor viz the diving was great if sometimes challanging, this made the trip, but only three dives a day and only 1 night dive. The crew are not as helpful as in Egypt, do not expect the pre & post dive assistance or even the drink, this does not mean there is no help, but it must be requested not offered. Soft drinks are not included except a water dispenser and orange squash, coke etc. must be bought at quite a high price. Take a bottle for water as none are provided The food was excellent and suitable for all tastes. All things considered great boat, crew & guides , the diving was fantastic, would highly recommend this trip. Darrall

Hi George, Wendy and I have returned last night from The Maldives on Nautilus 2 which we re-booked with you. Just wanted to say what a wonderful time we had! The boat was very luxurious for a liveaboard and the crew absolutely fantastic. I dont know how the chef produces such lovely meals in such a small galley definitely put on a pound or two! We loved the diving and saw the mantas that Wendy wanted and the whale sharks which I hadnt seen before. Many thanks and youll most certainly be seeing us again. Sally

Firstly many congrats to Scuba Travel for their award, I think you thoroughly deserve it. Now for our recent holiday in the Maldives. We had such a lovely time with a great crowd. Sue & I were pretty nervous to begin with especially as all the other divers seemed to have had loads of experience & our two guides seemed to think we had too!! However after a word with Essay & Frankie things were much better & after that they kept a close eye on us. With many thanks to you all for organising yet another great holiday. I am afraid you are stuck with me now as I could never trust another company!! Best wishes to you all. Anne
