Sardinia Liveaboards

Sardinia ranks as one of the most picturesque islands in the Mediterranean and now you can enjoy it all the more on board a Sardinian liveaboard. What better scuba diving holiday could you look for only hours from the UK? Diving in Sardinia is always richly rewarding with a reef, cave and wreck dives to while away an hour or more! There are literally hundreds of dive sites where you can enjoy the solitude underwater that only the liveaboard experience delivers. In between dives slip into the warm waters or grab some rays. And at the end of the day, return to your Sardinian liveaboard to watch the sun set over an azure sea, dining on moth watering dishes from the region.

Sardinia does not disappoint scuba divers. With its clear azure waters it is the perfect backdrop for some of the best diving (and snorkeling!) you will find in the Mediterranean. The Lake of Caves is a first class introduction to cave diving. In fact, everywhere you look the topography of the world underwater is mesmerising. Hunt out the marine life that hides in overhangs or just enjoy the eels and fish that hide amid sponges on a drop off. There are few currents here to worry about. Enjoy the slower pace of life and see Sardinia from a fresh new perspective.

The climate is typical of the Mediterranean with approximately 300 sunny days a year. The summer months are the most popular for tourists to Sardinia of all kinds, but for divers the season really begins in April and runs until October. The warm water makes this a fabulous choice for non divers and snorkelers as well. Book ahead if you are planning to visit during the school holidays.
