Truk Lagoon Dive Resorts

Truk Lagoon is diving legend for the incredible and unparalleled wreck diving at both technical and recreational depths but can be explored just as well from the comfort of your Truk resort as it can from a liveaboard. In this far flung corner of the Pacific you can spend your day diving mind blowing, pristine Second World War wrecks and then put your feet up over with a sun downer to soak up the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful Pacific scenery and fascinating history of this alluring island nation.

There is a seemingly never ending choice of wreck dives - cruisers, air craft carriers, gun boats, planes... the list is endless with more than 60 distinct sites identified to date. Many were with cargo holds that were well stocked by the Japanese. Coral growth is rich and the marine life plentiful. There is a healthy mix too of recreational and technical wrecks and most are around 25 minute boat ride from the resorts. And in case all that metal gets too much, there are some outstanding reef dives to be had.
