A first glance, Croatia might not appear the most obvious dive destination . Yet if you enjoy getting off the beaten track, you will find Croatia has everything you could possibly want. Her long coastlines guard one of Europe’s best kept diving secrets and the seaside resort of Crikvenica is no exception. The shores wind their way down, creating coves and bays begging to be explored whereas the town is packed with all the diversions you could want in between.

The Hotel Balatura hides away from prying eyes in the quiet valley of Vinodol. The breathtaking 300 year manor house has been recently renovated, yet retains her original features. Each of the rooms is individual and some have a private terrace. All rooms have a mini bar, TV and Internet access. With roaring fireplaces and a fresh catch of the day style menu, the Balatura is an invigorating retreat and only a short transfer from Oxygene Croatia.

Oxygene Croatia is a full PADI and BSAC centre that can cater for every diver. The diving is well suited to both learner divers and more experienced divers. There are wrecks for the metal heads and plenty of marine life for the fish lovers. Pink gorgonians grow happily and Croatia is home to anemones, eels and schooling fish. There are caverns and overhangs aplenty. Oxygene Croatia dives from boat and RIB and the team have an intimate knowledge of this spectacular destination.
