Croatia has a long and illustrious history, famed through the ages as a favourite seaside getaway for those in the know. And even today, this remains true. Mihuric Divers is nestled on a stretch of pristine coastline, in the lively town of Crikvenica and in the heart of the wild and mountainous Kvarner region. This is an area that recognises the importance of protecting its natural history. Tiny islands and coves pepper the shoreline and there is more than enough to guarantee you many a happy hour exploring this treasure trove.
The Hotel Therapia started life regally. Built by the kings architects in 1895, there is no denying that the hotel was built for royalty. Yet it is not just the outside that is impressive. Today this old building has been fully renovated to meet modern standards. Comprised of 109 rooms as well as some apartments, the accommodation is 4 star and superb.
The Hotel Therapia has been offering first class therapeutic spa treatments since 1899 - a tradition it continues today in the enchanting Wellness centre. The treatments are bang up to date with a wide selection of feel good massages. There is an outdoor pool with whirlpool as well as an indoor pool. Head from your massage to the aperitif terrace before your evening meal. The restaurant focuses on fresh fish dishes, caught that day. All of this only 200m from the nearest beach!

Croatia is the up and coming diving destination and well worth a second look. A diving holiday here has a tangible sense of adventure that easily competes with other short haul destinations. With over a thousand small islands and coves peppering the coastline, new dive sites and exploration are always on the menu here. The Peltastis and Lina wrecks are always worth a visit, as their decks are covered in marine life. Caverns and overhangs are a common feature at a lot of sites and add a thrill to any dive. Take a torch and investigate what lurks in the dark corners! Wall and reef diving ranges in depths so there is a site to suit - be you a novice diver or experienced sea dog. With purple corals, sponges, large gorgonians, photographers will not be short of a subject. A dive holiday in Croatia guarantees a refreshing week blowing bubbles, where you never quite know what you are going to find.
Mihuric dive centre are widely recognised as one of Croatia's premier dive centres. This 5* PADI IDC centre teaches courses all the way through to instructor. Once you are done with your classroom sessions, walk out to the shoreline for a dive or join the dive boat. There is a large area dedicated to kitting up as well as all those extras a discerning diver expects. The showers, kit storage and shop all help to make your holiday all the more comfortable. Families are always welcome here and children from the age of 8 can take their first breaths underwater in a safe and controlled pool environment.

The Panitula is the daily dive boat and departs each day for single dives or two tank days. The large platform at the back makes entries and exits simple. There is frequently a chance to get ashore during the surface interval to sample local dishes and a flavour of life on this dreamy shoreline. Sites are chosen to suit individual divers and interests, such is the variety of options all a short sail away. And at most locations you will enjoy the privilege of being the only divers in the water. Shore diving from the centre's beach location are also possible and a great option for a relaxing dive.
