The Iberotel Coraya and Coraya Divers are an ideal family destination. This resort has plenty to keep everyone amused. Let yourself be spoilt by the beauty of the Southern Red Sea and by the quality of comfort associated with the Iberotel chain of hotels. Marsa Alam airport is the gateway for this hidden hotel, only a short transfer away.
The Iberotel Coraya is comprised of 364 rooms with sea or garden views. All have air con, en suite, mini bar and a balcony. Built on the side of a natural bay, the Iberotel has beach access and several pools. Restaurants, bars and cafes are dotted around and the hotel spa and tennis courts provide plenty of distraction in between. The hotel runs a kids club and nanny services so parents can feel secure. The Nubian architecture can be seen all around the well manicured gardens and only adds to the peaceful atmosphere.
Coraya Divers is an expertly run dive centre that has tailored the day to the hotel timetable. Early morning, single, double boat dives are arranged, as well as diving the house reef, by land or night diving. The stunning house reef and adjacent out reef is easily accessible from the designated divers jetty, tanks and weights provided conveniently at the entry point. A 10 dive package is included with a 7 night stay on a half board basis as standard, although half board can also be arranged. Journey to Marsa Alam to see the very furthest reaches of the Red Sea and the up and coming diving holiday in Egypt. Here the creature comforts of a modern hotel mingles seamlessly with the same world class diving we have come to expect from this all time diving destination. Away from the hustle and bustle, you are free to explore this still largely undiscovered region. In the clear warm waters, you can come face to face with some of Marsa Alam's more unique residents that will make other divers green with envy. Turtles, rays and sharks are just some of the highlights but there is even a local population of dugongs to see if you are really lucky. This is all along side beautiful reef dives packed with clouds of anthias, sargent majors and trigger fish. Look closer to find excellent macro life or camouflage fish.
Coraya Divers are perfectly located on the southern side of a sheltered bay. They are one of the largest centres in the area and have a superb set up that gives total dive freedom with an ever careful eye on safety. A warm welcome is always guaranteed. If you are new to diving, you will love having the classroom and house reef all in one location. There is a platform at 4m on the house reef for practicing those all important skills under the watchful eye of your PADI instructor. Children aged 8 or above can join the fun too with the Bubblemaker and Kids programme. And if you are already certified, why not take your diving to the next level with the range of specialty and further education courses.

A normal week at Coraya mixes up house reef diving and boat diving with a myriad of options to suit you. If you have over 25 dives, you can grab a tank and dive unguided in the house reef which is open between 09:00 and 16:30. The jetty entrance is divided so both snorkelers and divers can enter and exit easily at the ideal point of the bay. Guided dives are also on offer for those that prefer (local surcharge). Or why not jump in the speedboat to drift into the house reef from the outside reef. There are a further 10+ dive sites that can be access from shore dotted along the coastline. And the fleet of boats departs on full day or half day trips to yet more sites further away. Boredom is never an problem here!

Brilliant weeks diving holiday, facilities at the Coraya hotel and dive centre excellent, staff at the dive centre were first class, lots of fun and enjoyment, will definitely come again. Hi Caroline. The Coraya Beach was a very good choice , couldnt fault it. Great food, staff, facilities etc. Dived everyday mainly on the house reef as too much hassle with trips further afield after the week on the boat. Got some great photos which is what it was all about!! Thanks for all your help with the arrangements. Martyn
