If you are staying in Sharm's most exclusive hotel, you can expect the diving and your on site dive centre to match the same exceptional standards. Sinai Blues are just moments away from Tiran Island. Tiran is famed for the lush coral gardens, plunging drop offs, turtles, hammerheads and massive grouper. The rare red anemone is worth hunting out and gorgonians grow in the swift currents. Ras Mohammed is no less impressive, with steep walls and purple coloured soft corals in abundance. Snapper, batfish, barracuda and napoleons are all common. Even the local dive sites will hit the mark. From shallow gentle dives to easy drifts, there are blue spotted sting rays, lion fish and great clouds of anthias adorning the reef plate. Wreck divers too are not forgotten and the Thistlegorm is a World War 2 relic quite unlike any other. Sharm has long been a stalwart for UK divers and with diving this good, there is no chance of this changing soon.
The day diving offered by Sinai Blues is impressive. Not only can you dive the gorgeous house reef but you can also jump into one of the super fast RIBS for quick access to Tiran. There are 2 day boats, Virginia and Sanafir, which are fully kitted out for divers of all levels right up to tek. Pick from single or double dive trips for total flexibility.
