The Grand Rotana is a modern and sleek 5* hotel to the north of Na'ama Bay. It is a secluded oasis from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Built into the cliff face at Eagle Ray Bay, the Grand Rotana enjoys golden sunsets overlooking Tiran island and has a wonderful house reef. It only makes sense therefore that this winning hotel should host an excellent satellite Camel Dive Club.
The Grand Rotana has 480 luxurious rooms in a distinctly modern building. Designed to bring light, space and air into the hotel, the decor is a bold mixture of bright colors and tactile fabrics. Every possible detail has been well thought out. The spa has legendary sea views that will calm your soul. An on site bar is the focal point for the hotel night life, while numerous restaurants serve European, Asian and middle eastern dishes within an informal ambience. The hotel also boasts a private beach, Turkish bath and large pool complex.
Camel Dive Club operates a satellite centre on the beach and has full use of the house reef, as well use of the Camel boats from nearby Sharks Bay jetty. Scuba diving in Sharm will put a smile on everyone's face - the diversity of diving waiting for you here is incredible. New divers can hone their skills in the calm waters of local dive sites whilst veterans can feel the rush of a fast drift in Tiran or along Ras Mohammed's plunging walls. Photographers have endless coral gardens and pinnacles to snap. And wreck divers have the incomparable Thistlegorm with its cargo of war time relics to admire. The Dunraven satisfies both wreck and reef divers. Or if the lure of the deep calls, technical diving is at its very best here.
Diving at the Grand Roatana is managed by Camel Dive Club, one of Sharm's premier dive centres. Not only can you benefit from all of the experience and professionalism that Camel are so famous for, but also the dedicated facilities right on the hotel's beach, looking out towards Tiran. Taking a PADI course? Classroom sessions can be completed in the comfort of air con rooms and pool sessions at the hotel pool. Qualifying open water dives can then be from the beach or boat as you prefer!

The house reef, otherwise known as Eagle Ray Bay, is the ideal starting point for your adventure and with the custom built pontoon for entries and exits, exploring the vibrant reef that edges the beach could not be easier or more enjoyable. Training courses can be completed here or from the Camel day boats - the choice is yours. The day boats depart each morning for two or three tank dives and all transfers are taken care of and guided house reef dives are scheduled twice daily. This is a flexible dive package that caters well from the comfort of your hotel base for your every need.
