Eco Divers Lembeh resort is based in Butung - where there are no hills! Each of the spacious cottages sleeps up to 6 people in double and twin bedrooms. Each room has it's own private en suite. The elegant and modern decor welcomes you in, as does the mouth watering smells coming from the dining room. Forget hotel buffets! The cottage chef prepares fresh local and western specialities each day. Wake up to a tasty breakfast on the table or come home from the day's diving to be spoilt as you sit to a 3 course dinner (veggies are not forgotten either!). Each cottage has a separate living room for relaxing. Or download that day's photographic efforts in the dedicated camera room. Savour the real taste of Indonesia from the comfort of your cottage, your home away from home.
Then there is the diving. Lembeh's reputation is growing and it is easy to see why. Under the expert eyes of your dive guide, enjoy encounters with some of the best critter action on the planet. Discover something new each time you dive amid the sandy seabeds and reef slopes! Personal service is important at Eco Divers and there are never more than 4 divers to each guide so you can be sure you will not miss a crab, nudibrach or seahorse. Flamboyant cuttlefish, Ambon scorpion fish, hairy frog fish... the names are exotic and alluring and this is just a tiny taster of what you can see. The main dive boat is only a 2 minute transfer from the shore line and all of the dive sites can be reached within 15 minutes by speedboat. There is no doubt, the Lembeh cottages and Eco Divers are the gateway to another world.

Indonesia is around 15-20 hours flight from the UK and is made up of around 18 000 islands. It is the largest archipelago in the world straddling the Equator, between the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Most travellers will enter Indonesia through Jakarta (CGK), Bali (DPS) or Manado (MDC) airports. This is the stuff of divers' dreams. This exotic nation is the very definition of bio diversity. Find the big fish in Komodo, Raja Ampat or Kalimantan. Drift lazily along the walls of Bunaken and Wakatobi, watching turtles on coral drenched walls. While away the hours hunting for miniscule macro in Bali, Lembeh or Ambon. Cannot decide? Why not combine two locations into a single trip!
Indonesia is a vast country, and the weather can be hugley variable. The topography means that weather patterns can be very localised. This is the tropics! For Bali, Komodo & Wakatobi the weather is usually best from April - November, with July and August being some of the best months to visit. Between December and March the conditions can be a bit stormy. November to April is also the wettest month to visit Bunaken, Lembeh and Kalimantan but to a lesser degree than in other locations. October to April is historically the most popular time to dive in Raja Ampat.

Some camouflage themselves well so watch out for a pair of eyes peering out from the sandbed.
