Lanzarote is one of the islands in the Canaries. It lies 125km off the west coast of Morocco, and only just over 4 hours flying time from the UK. It's a volcanic island with a dramatic, rocky landscape, peppered by superb beaches and surrounded by the inviting Atlantic. It's a popular island for UK visitors, who love the friendly people, relaxed island vibe and year round sunshine.
Weather and Climate
Lanzarote has a subtropical climate, with higher temperatures and a drier climate than the Spanish mainland. Over the summer, prevailling trade winds cool the island. Expect air temps of around 29C in August, cooling down to around 24 by November. Through our winter months the air temps are a pleasant 20 or so, with a few, short, sharp sudden bursts of rain.
We are able to book a number of charter flight options from the UK to Lanzarote. Flights operate from a number of regional airports. If you have a specific airline you prefer to fly with, simply let us know in your booking request. A supplement may apply for regional departures. Times and any applicable supplements will be confirmed by your travel consultant before you finalise your holiday.
