Egypt: Mike Ward was on board Hurricane getting wrecktastic with his fellow metal heads.  Fabulous wreck diving is always guaranteed but one of our regulars Owen said it was nonetheless one of the best weeks in the Red Sea he has had with few other divers and brilliant dive after dive.  Dolphin put in appearance at Abu Nuhas

Maldives: It is official – the manta season has started. Scuba Travel’s Caroline has just returned from her holiday on Orion (yes what else do we do for our holidays!) and these guys saw nearly everything. Bar a whaleshark (well you cannot have everything) the group saw more pelagics than you could poke a stick at. Manta sightings came in thick and fast, there were plenty of white tips and greys and a huge cow nose ray. Eagle rays and turtles rounded off the week.

Philippines: Philippine Siren is the liveaboard to be on in this island nation and last week’s tour of the Visayas lived up to the high expectations of guests on board (especially Marleen who was also celebrating her birthday).  The week started with some of the unusual smaller stuff including a wonderpus and of course colourful mandarin fish.  As the week went on the sightings got bigger, with turtles, eagle rays and sea snakes all seen.  The week wrapped up with the magnificent swirls of sardines at Pescador.
