Egypt: This week the diving has continued to delight. Down in the southern Red Sea photo pro Martin Edge spent a week with fellow photographers on Grand Sea Serpent, snapping the gorgeous corals and caves of St Johns. This week also marked the 70th anniversary of the sinking of the Thistlegorm in the northern Red Sea. The dive guides on Mistral tied a flower to the bow of the wreck in memory of the tragic event all those years ago.
Maldives: The manta season has been going strong for the past few weeks, especially around the manta mecca that is Hanivaru. But not to be outshone over on Kuredu, the dive team were celebrating an underwater engagement. Unsuspecting bride to be Louise went out for her first ever open water dive only for boyfriend Ben to propose to her. With the help of Pro Divers Kuredu he had prepared a slate to ask her the all important question. And we a pleased to say she said yes!
Palau: Scuba Travel Director is still feeling a bit jet lagged from her trip on Ocean Hunter 3 but also buzzing from the experience. With up to 5 dives a day it was an intensive trip but one of the best dive destinations she has ever been to. A full trip report is on its ways but undeniable highlights were the sharks on nearly every dive. Blue Corner was the best site for up close shark sightings though as well as turtles. And loads of manta at German Channel. All on top of wrecks, caves and the jelly fish lake! We cannot wait to see the pics.
