The Red Sea is one of the most popular world class dive destinations and now you can rediscover the incredible dive sites from the decks of the luxurious Red Sea Aggressor II. This stable liveabaord will offer guests a 7-night itinerary diving the best of the north to Ras Mohamed and the Straits of Tiran. Just off shore lives thousands of species of fish in beautiful crystal clear water with coral gardens, historical shipwrecks, breath-taking soft corals, and pinnacles. There are over one thousand species of fish in the Red Sea, 20 percent of which can be found nowhere else in the world. Where the Egyptian desert sands end, a marine paradise begins.

The Red Sea Aggressor II is a spacious 40m liveaboard with a 26 ft. beam, built and powered for comfort, safety and stability. She is diesel powered, cruises at 10-12 knots and has 220-volt power. Comfortable accommodations for 22 guests include 11 spacious staterooms each independently air-conditioned, a private head and shower, porthole view window, mirrored cabinet, hair dryer, fresh towels and volume controls. The Red Sea Aggressor II has 2 Master staterooms each with a queen bed, 8 Deluxe staterooms, each with two twin beds and 1 suite with a queen bed. Each stateroom has a 32-inch flat screen TV offering a selection of 400 movies, TV shows and documentaries. Guests will also be able to plug their computers into the TV screen to edit underwater pictures and video.

The yacht has a beautiful spacious salon, large sun deck with shading, Jacuzzi, chaise lounges and deck chairs, bar and a complete photo/video center. The onboard video format is both NTSC and PAL. Meals are always a highlight on board an Aggressor boat, and this is no exception. The menu aboard is varied and plentiful, with a variety of Egyptian feasts and local cuisine. Served alongside, is the Aggressor beverage package, which includes fruit juices, soft drinks, iced water, iced tea, coffee, and a limited selection of local beer and wine, which are complimentary. There is a variety of nightly entertainment, including diving, marine life identification presentations, movies, games and more. On board is a selection of 400 classic and new release movies that can be viewed in the boats salon or taken to your cabin to watch.

Although Egypt does not have any covid testing or vaccination requirements for any travellers, please be respectful of your fellow passengers and do not travel if you are ill. You should make sure you have travel insurance that covers all eventualities (including cancellation due to illness)
  • If you have been unwell with suspected or confirmed COVID, get a medical professional to confirm you are fit to dive and bring this with you.
  • Egypt has now removed all local covid requirements and protocols
  • Tornado Marine Fleet crew have all been vaccinated
    IMPORTANT: It must be stressed again that many of these are provisional procedures that we reserve the right to add to or relax depending on the best possible information and national regulations at the time of sailing.

    Weather and Climate

    Fine weather is the order of the day pretty much throughout the year, with rainfall quite rare and short lived. The hottest time of the year is July to August with air temperatures over 30°C. Even in Egypt's so called 'winter' the average rarely falls below 20°C. Water temperature varies from 20°C in February to 29°C in September. Please choose your exposure suit accordingly, depending on your personal preferences.

    Flight options

    Our holiday packages are inclusive of flights from London Gatwick for a fully ATOL bonded holiday. A supplement may apply for regional departures if possible. Times and any applicable supplements will be confirmed by your travel consultant before you finalise your holiday. Unfortunately, not all regional flight routings are compatible with liveaboard schedules. Our advertised liveaboard packages with Emperor and Aggressor fleets exclude flights. Please ask for a quote to add these to your booking. If you wish to make your own flight arrangements to Egypt, let us know and we can arrange transfers as required. Please do not confirm any flight arrangements yourself before your boat space is confirmed by us.

    Stopovers

    As flights are direct between the UK and Egypt, there are no stop over options available.

    Visa requirements

    All UK visitors to Egypt need an entry visa (valid for a 30 days.Do ensure your passport has 6 months validity from your return date to prevent any issues with immigration.     Insurance

    Scuba Travel requires all of our customers to have diving insurance. Please make sure that you have appropriate cover for your diving activities. We also strongly recommend you have travel insurance. It's worth taking out travel insurance once you have paid your deposit to ensure you are covered for unforeseen events and cancellation.     Immunisations

    Preparing to fly

    Seating

    Flights to Egypt are charter flights with TUI or EasyJet. TUI seating is allocated at check in and you cannot check in online. For EasyJet flights you will be able to manage your booking online with the airline directly and select any payable seating/baggage extras.

    Check in

    Egypt does not permit digital boarding passes. You must print your boarding passes/flight coupons for both flights. TUI do not enable online check EasyJet allow online check in via their website

    What happens when I arrive?

    On arrival in Egypt, you will need to clear immigration and collect your baggage. Our representative will be waiting either airside around the baggage carousel or in the arrivals hall. They will be holding a board with either Scuba Travel, your destination or your name on it. If you have prepaid for our visa service, you will be given your visa on arrival. If you have any issues at all locating your rep, please contact us. We have an emergency contact, manned by a member of the team here in the UK. Call 0044 7747 488 002. We will be able to help your rep locate you in the airport.

    Transfers

    Airport transfers are always included in your liveaboard or resort holiday package when using our flights. Our representatives will advise where to find your transfer outside of the airport. We try to keep transfer times as short as possible, with most being no more than 30mins travel time from the airport to the boat/hotel. If you have made your own flight arrangements to land in Egypt, please confirm at the time of booking if airport transfers are included or available at an additional cost

    Departures

    At the end of your holiday, your return transfer details will be advised locally. There is currently no departure tax leaving Egypt.

    Info

    Tipping

    Crew gratuities are not included in the charter. Aggressor believe gratuities should be voluntary and based upon the quality of service the crew has provided. When settling your account on the final morning morning, the Captain will have an envelope for gratuities that will be divided equally among the crew.

    Currency

    Payment can be made by cash, AMEX, Visa or Master Card credit card, dollars, euros and Egyptian pounds cash. The yacht does not accept traveler’s checks. (Egyptian banks don’t accept them)

    Phone coverage

    Mobile coverage is itinerary dependent. Most of itineraries will have phone coverage when close to shore. WiFi is limited for browsing and connecting to communication applications only when a mobile signal is present normally nearby or in port. Signal strength can vary which may result in intermittent and/or slow connections. This service is provided as a courtesy but is dependent on the local mobile provider. Laptops/computers or other devices for using internet are not supplied on-board, you should bring your own computer to use the internet service

    2 pin European sockets. Plugs are located on dive deck, saloon and in cabins.

    Hire equipment

    A full line of Aqua Lung Rental gear is available aboard (local charges apply) including regulators, BCDs, Dive computers, and Night Lights. (wetsuits not available) If any of your dive equipment fails while onboard, the crew will loan you equipment free of charge, compliments of Aqua Lung

    Several diving specialty courses are offered onboard including Nitrox, Advanced Open Water, UW Photography, Master Diver and more. Please ask your travel consultant for a full list of course prices.

    Souvenirs

    There is a mini-boutique onboard with assorted t-shirts, and miscellaneous items. Due to limited availability, we recommend bringing extra batteries and CD’s for photos.

    Unlimited Nitrox is $100 per 7 night charter/ $150 per 10 night charter

    Payments

    Deposits and Balances

    A typical deposit for your Aggressor liveaboard package will be 50% of the trip cost. Your final balance will be due 100 days before travel.

    Ways to pay

    We accept mastercard and visa debit or credit cards. If you would like a pay by link to complete check out via email please let us know and it can be set up for you. We do not take AMEX. All non sterling card payments and UK business debit cards will be subject to the 3% surcharge. Alternatively, you are welcome to pay via bank transfer. Overseas bank transfers must add £8 to the sterling total to cover international handling fees. We are not able to accept PayPal transactions or personal cheques.

    Group Payments

    If you have booked as part of a group, you can still call and pay directly without needing to go via your group leader. Please have your trip reference number to hand to help us locate your holiday as quickly as possible. You will receive a transaction receipt - your group leader will forward your ATOL certificate and booking confirmation

    There is currently a port fee of $50 and $100 marine park fees

    Nitrox for 7 nights is $100 on all Aggressor charters, kit rental, souvenirs or private guiding services are paid for on board. There is a 14% Value Added Tax (VAT) required by the Egyptian Federal Law for all onboard billings
