Fiji Aggressor | Fiji Diving Liveaboard

Fiji boasts incredible diving all year round and with Island Aggressor, you can dive Fiji famous coral reefs from the comfort and luxury of a liveaboard. Welcome to the Coral Capital of the World! From the moment you step on board, your every whim is catered for and all with a smile. Enjoy the laid back pace of life that is so characteristic of the South Pacific with world class diving just a giant stride away.

With only 10 divers on board, the Fiji Aggressor will appeal to the discriminating diver that prefers small groups. There are 5 cabins including 4 deluxe cabins and 1 master suite. The master suite has a queen size bed and sweeping views of the ocean as it passes gently by. The chef creates a mouthwatering mix of international dishes with a taster of local favourites for you to sample. Relax in the large saloon, with DVD and entertainment systems, or enjoy the glorious weather from the shaded sun deck. The back dive deck is generous with plenty of space for everyone's equipment and cameras.

Fiji Aggressor sails between the many islands that surround Vitu Levu. The dive sites sound alluring. Splash in at the Magic Mountain or fly through Save A Tack Passage. The pristine coral reefs are a real highlight and you are guaranteed to see some of the healthiest, densest coral reefs. Yet the marine life that lives amongst them is no less impressive. Reef sharks and eagle rays come into the reef for cleaning. Tuna and barracuda skit along in deeper water, swirling in schools. Clown fish protect their anemones fiercely from passing snapper and wrasses. Even the occasional pilot whale stops to see what is happening. Ribbon eels, ghost pipefish and pygmy sea horses can be found by the eagle eyed. Fiji is a veritable underwater playground for all levels of diver - so step off the back dive deck and see for yourself.

The service on the boat was excellent, the food was very good, and the scuba diving was outstanding. We were able to rent a dive computer and pressure gauge after one of ours failed. The divemasters did a great job and showed us lots of new marine life.

Covid Information for Fiji Aggressor

INFORMATION PROVIDED BY AGGRESSOR FLEET

Last Updated: 19APR 2022

Each of our destinations that are open stringently follow the local Covid-19 requirements and protocols for our adventures. We also build on these with Clean, Refresh and Sanitize programs. All of our staff undergo frequent temperature checks and health monitoring. While we encourage all of our staff to get a vaccination against Covid-19 when available, it is a very personal choice that we respect. This same standard is applied to our guests that are travelling with us since our first destination reopened in July of 2020.

Protocols for a Suspected Case of COVID-19

Each Aggressor Adventure destination has established a local professional medical support team to advise them should a staff member or guest become ill and develop a fever or other symptoms. Temperatures of staff are taken twice daily. Once onboard, we instruct guests to self-monitor and report to the Captain if they develop a fever or other symptoms. We ask you to be honest and tell us if there have been any changes that could compromise your health or others If fever or other symptoms are detected on board, the destination will contact their local medical support team for a consultation. If possible, transportation is arranged for the patient to visit the medical facility for evaluation. While awaiting transport to be organized, the guest will be asked to self-isolate in their stateroom. If the yacht is further offshore, medical support provides a remote consultation, and the guest will be instructed to self-isolate in their stateroom for the remainder of their trip or until the evacuation is possible. If appropriate, the roommate will move to alternate accommodations. Meals will be brought to the patient's room. Linens are cleaned (in isolation) daily, along with cleaning and sterilizing the room.
The guest will absorb the costs of evacuation and land accommodations and medical services. We highly recommend that you review your travel / medical insurance for coronavirus coverage should this occur. Keep in mind that fever alone is not a suspected Covid-19 case.

Frequently Asked Questions

Location

Fiji is in the South Pacific Ocean, east of Vanuata and west of Tonga. It is made up of some 322 islands, of which only a third or so are inhabited! The main arrival point for all travllers is Nadi, with the city of Suva being the other large focal point on the main island Viti Levu. Thanks to the road network around Viti Levu and the domestic flights linking the other islands, it is relatively easy to get around Fiji, visiting several points in a single trip. You can even travel by boat around islands that have no roads!

Weather and Climate

Fiji has a tropical climate, and as such, the weather really can change quickly! On the surface, the cool trade winds over our summer months make it a popular time of year to visit. However, this is typically when the water is coolest (23-26C). As such, many divers prefer Fiji over our winter months (when you have higher chances of rainfall), when the viz is better and there tends to be a bit more big fish life. Typical water temps Dec-Mar are 27-30C
