The FCDO advise against all but essential travel to Jamaica. This is based on the current assessment of COVID-19 risks. If you are returning to the UK from Jamaica on or after 29 August, you may need to self-isolate on your return.
Prior to checking in for a flight to Jamaica, you must get authorisation to enter from the Visit Jamaica website.
All travellers arriving in Jamaica will be screened for Covid 19 symptoms at the airport and travellers from the USA, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Panama require appropriate evidence of a Covid 19 negative test.
Note that based on health screening and risk assessment on arrival, persons may still be required to be tested at the airport or designated facility, if, for example, they are exhibiting symptoms or belong to a high risk group despite presenting a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate. In this case, they would await their test result in their hotel room.
Persons not required to be tested on arrival will be allowed to go to their hotel/resort under the “Stay in Resilient Corridor” control measure. The Resilient Corridor is a special zone in which tourism service delivery operators have been trained and certified for adherence to COVID-19 protocols. Visitors are required to stay within the Resilient Corridor.

Jamaica has a tropical climate with temps between 22C and 31C across the year. The UK winter months December to February are the dry season, with cool nights and sunshine filled days. The wettest months are May, June, October and November, when you have higher chances of rain. The water is cooler around 25-26 over the winter months, warming up to around 30 over the summer months,
There are direct flights from London to Jamaica with BA and Virgin, typically 2 or 3 times a week (depending on season). We are able to book most major airlines. If you have a specific airline you prefer to fly with, simply let us know in your booking request. A supplement may apply for regional departures. Times and any applicable supplements will be confirmed by your travel consultant before you finalise your holiday. If you wish to make your own flight arrangements to Jamaica, let us know and we can remove the cost of the international flights from your quote.
