Many divers head to Gulen to discover the twin delights of the wreck and reef diving. Gulen Dive Resort offer 20+ spectacular wrecks and several of them are truly world class. Their pride and joy is Frankenwald, voted Norway's Best Wreck in 2009 by the Norwegian dive magazine. Kelp forest, soft coral reefs, wrecks or excellent macro diving, it's all close by. Minimal tidal ranges and limited currents make for enjoyable dive sites. And then there is the "magic" house reef. With critters and nudis aplenty, this is a photography paradise.
Gulen Dive Resort have been diving Norway for over 20 years. The MS Vikingsford is a speedy and stable dive boat. There's even a lift for easy entry adn exits, ideal for divers with camera kit or multiple tanks. Most sites are within an hour from the centre. The boat departs for two trips daily, and you can conduct afternoon dives or night dives from the pier directly on the house reef
