North East Dive - Sea loch diving Scotland

2020 has not been a standard year, but one thing that is dependable is the quality of Scottish west coast diving and the rule that the further north you go, the more spectacular it gets. North East dive are based in Kinlochbervie, near Cape Wrath, North West Scotland. This sparsely populated area is famed for its very clear waters and dramatic dive sites, with the beautiful and jagged coastline offering seemingly endless dive opportunities, stunning scenery and plenty of sheltered spots from any inclement weather!

Your home from home is the North East Dive guest house, in the crofting village of Sheigra, in Kinlochbervie. The house is a bungalow layout with 5 twin bedrooms. In total a max of 10 can be accommodated. There are 2 shared bathrooms for the guest house.

The large living room overlooks the beach, and has space for all to relax in post diving. The communal rooms have been recently renovated with a large kitchen dining area. This is a self catering holiday option. We suggest you take food supplies for the duration though there is a local shop and some hotels within Kinlochbervie area if need be. There is central heating throughout and plans to add a fuel stove in 2021. Chill out on the deck outside. Stow your gear in the utility room. A separate wash/drying area is planned as the next addition.

We encourage driving to this remote location, and there is ample parking on site. If you prefer to fly, talk to us about adding flights to Inverness and self drive car hire to your holiday.

If you are not a diver you can still enjoy the stunning Scottish scenery. The lodge is ideally situated for an evening stroll to the stunning Sheigra beach, or cliff tops walk overlooking the water.

Standard trips are based on 5 or 6 nights accommodation plus your diving package. However the team are very flexible, and we can tailor the duration of your stay to suit (min boat numbers apply). If you are a small group or dive club looking for a getaway, talk to us today!

Weather and Climate

Scotland's weather can vary enormously from location to location, and it can be unpredictable, even within a single day. Warm summers and colder winter months, with a reasonable amount of rain in Spring and Autumn mean that we recommend you always pack a waterproof jacket, lots of layers, an umbrella and comfy shoes for walking.
