Cape Town

Great whites are enigmatic sharks that attract divers - and now with the expertise of Apex Predators you too can get close to these incredible sharks. Watch them hunt and breach in their natural environment around False Bay and Gansbaai.

Apex Predators are committed to quality, not quantity. Their recipe of small groups, extensive local knowledge and experience at Seal Island combines with Chris and Monique's passion for nature. There are never more than 12 divers per trip. Divers descend in the cage 2 at a time for up to 30 minutes at a go. No experience is required and all instruction and equipment is provided on the day.

  • Undeniable great white shark experts Chris & Monique Fallows
  • Shark encounters in both False Bay and Gansbaii (depending on season)
  • Whales, dolphins, makos and sea lions
  • Small groups for the best experiences

Great white behaviours and encounters do vary throughout the year. The False Bay season runs from Mar - Sep and out of Gansbaai all year. But there is so much more than just great whites to find. Breaching whales can be seen Jun- Jul and Oct - Nov including Southern Right whales and Brydes whales. 7 gill cow sharks, makos, blue shark and dolphin are just some of the other large pelagics you can come across. Pelagic perfection!
