Malapascua is home to a famous thresher shark dive at Monad Shoal, but the nudibranchs and macro life is also impressive. Drift along the steep, black coral crusted walls of Kalanggaman. Balicasag throngs with schooling fish. Sardines, snapper and barracuda, these massive schools of fish are mesmerising. Turtles of all shapes and sizes can be found at many reefs along the route but these are not the only large inhabitants. Pescador is known for the huge bait balls of sardines that swirl around divers. And watch for passing whalesharks, travelling through the deep water channel.
