This impressive 41m liveaboard accommodates up to 26 guests. MY Blue Horizon is fully equipped for technical diving, and features the latest diving and safety equipment. Four disabled-friendly suites feature king-sized beds, while nine further cabins are twin bedded. All cabins are air-conditioned and are fitted with en-suite facilities, mini bar and TV screen with built in media player. There is a hard disk attached with a selection of movies and TV programmes available. The main saloon and Sky Lounge are large and luxurious, each with their own plasma screen TV and entertainment system, air-conditioning and bar facilties. The Sky Lounge is fully carpeted. MY Blue Horizon boasts two spacious sundecks and an open-air freshwater jacuzzi for ultimate relaxation after a day's diving. All divers are required to use a dive computer. Combine Blue Horizon with Scuba Travels flights and ATOL bonding for a fabulous red sea holiday. More dates available on request. Day 1: Embarkation at 18:00 followed by dinner and briefings Day 2: Visit dive sites local to your departure port for three dives (a check dive, practice zodiac dive and night dive) before heading out to the marine parks. Day 3-6: We normally plan to spend a day each at Big Brother, Small Brother, Daedalus and the Elphinstone area. Normally you will have the opportunity to make three dives per day (night dives are not permitted in the marine parks). A typical diving day is scheduled as follows: ߦ Light Breakfast, followed by a briefing & Dive 1 ߦ Full Breakfast, relaxation period, briefing & Dive 2 ߦ Lunch, relaxation period, briefing & Dive 3 ߦ Snack, relaxation period, briefing & 1 night dive per week ߦ Dinner Day 7: After a week of drop-offs, enjoy two relaxed morning dives local to your arrival port allowing you to cruise into harbour in the early afternoon. Take advantage of an evening onshore to purchase souvenirs and enjoy Egypt's famous hospitality before your journey home the next day. Day 8: Following breakfast on board, disembarkation is scheduled for between 09:00 and 10:00.

Simply the Best is exactly that - simply the best scuba diving in the Egyptian Southern Red Sea. The itinerary focuses on the reef systems of the Brothers and Daedalus, which make up the offshore Marine Park, and the steep wall dives of Elphinstone. The Egyptian Marine Parks are protected areas and places of magnificent beauty underwater. The lighthouses have warned passing ships throughout the years of the dangers that hide beneath the waves, but for divers this is a playground. Drift dives, daring drops offs, pelagic encounters and even wreck dives. Dive after dive, Simply the Best is a a fine addition to your log book and a must see itinerary for your next Red Sea liveaboard holiday
Simply the Best lives up to its formidable reputation. Diving here can be unpredictable and you never know what is passing in the blue. After a check dive, the Brothers is normally your first big wall stop off. Sailing overnight means you can wake up to be where the action is. Little Brother is the stage for adrenalin fuelled shark diving, whilst Big Brother sports the highlights of the Numidia and Aida wrecks. Another overnight journey and you are whisked to Daedalus Reef. Daedalus is a huge triangular chunk of a reef, whose vertical drop offs rival the Brothers. Giant hard coral structures sprawl the walls and schooling hammerheads are frequently found off the northern point. Currents pulse over a garden of splendid anemones, whose damsel residents dart between tentacles. Rounding off the week is Elphinstone reef, completing a trio of unparalleled wall dive destinations. Elphinstone has earned a reputation in recent years as the place to see oceanic white tips (Sept - Jan). Reef sharks pass over the northern plateau. Barracuda, snapper and tuna are staple spots on all sites.
Simply the Best is an advanced itinerary and best suited to divers that are comfortable on wall dives, with boat diving and drift diving. Diving can be fast paced and an SMB is essential. Photographers are advised to to bring a wide angle lens, but macro life is also rich and plentiful. The Marine Park islands are remote and the lighthouse crews at Brothers and Daedalus are always pleased to offer visitors a glass of hot tea. The reefs descend to great depths and the warm waters suit technical divers. Night diving is prohibited in the Northern Marine Parks. An adventurous itinerary, why not undertake the journey to these remote locations and see for yourself just how great the reward is when you get there.
Royal Evolution
Royal Evolution will dive the above areas but in a slightly different order. Trips typically start at Ras Disha and Middle Reef before sailing to the Brothers. 2 days will be spent at the Brothers before heading onto Daedalus. A full day is spent there and then you move onto Elphinstone for a day. Giftun and Abu Ramamd are the final dives if the boat is returning to Hurgada and not Port Ghalib.

Blue Horizon is a well known Red Sea Liveaboard. Dive the fabled Brothers, Daedalus and Elphinstone with up to 19 dives over the week. Departing from Hurghada, you will spend 7 nights on board on a full board basis (twin share cabin). 12lt tank, air fills and weights are included in your package - please prebook a 15lt tanks before travel. All trips are fully guided with up to 3 expert guides. Flights are with TUI from Gatwick (Regional airports are also available on request) A day use hotel can be prebooked for the last day £75. Excluded are the Egyptian entry visa, Nitrox and Marine park fees (which should be pre paid $80) alcohol, additional kit hire and any on board souvenirs.
