Camel Dive Club and Hotel have been at the very heart of Naama Bay in Sharm el Sheikh for over 30 years and their hard work has been recognised repeatedly by winning a host of Trip Advisor and Diver awards over the years. The facilities for divers and non divers have evolved greatly, but Camel remains one of the friendliest boutique hotels with a reputation for the quality of its recreational and technical training. With only 38 rooms on site, Camel is a welcoming boutique hotel. The rooms are large and have private bathroom, fridge and safe. The rooms have been refurbished during the 2020 closure, with new beds, flatscreen TVs, and energy-efficient air conditioning. We love the pool view rooms as standard. Thirty Pool view rooms have their own terrace or balcony overlooking the pool. Eight standard rooms are of the same quality, but without pool view and without terrace or balcony. Five of the ground floor pool view rooms are fully accessible to wheelchair users. Free wireless internet access is available at hotspots around the Hotel, including the balconies and terraces of some rooms
The continental breakfast is now an a la carte service where guests can pre-book their breakfast straight from their phone or tablet. You can upgrade to the premium breakfast service for a small surcharge. which includes 4 breakfast choices: English breakfast, traditional Egyptian breakfast, healthy breakfast and vegan breakfast. You can also chose to upgrade as part of your prebooked package to half board, and include one starter, one main course, one dessert with one soft drink/water each evening. Dine in the superb Italian inspired restaurant, catch up with friends at infamous sports and roof bar, or grab a tasty treat from ice cream parlour or bakery.
The Camel team have thought of everything you could need, all a stone's throw from your room. The swimming pool has been designed for use by both divers and sun seekers. Please be aware, dive training may take place in the pool during the day. Naama Bay beach is only a 2 minute walk from the hotel itself. All of the public areas are wheelchair accessible. Few resorts in Sharm are as environmentally conscious with a number of initiatives to give back to their local environment. It's not surprise, Camel is a regular hot spot for guests and locals alike.

Go diving in Sharm and see for yourself the thrilling combination of gorgeous reef diving, high impact walls, drift dives and of course, the world famous wrecks. Sharm is a veritable haven for divers with Ras Mohammed and Tiran on your doorstep and a whole host of local dive sites to boot. No matter what experience level, there truly is something here for everyone. Most sites are no more than an hour's sail from shore so you will quickly find yourself ready to jump. The local dive sites which snake along the shore are ideal for new divers, refreshers or check dives.
The dive centre is only a short walk away from Namma jetty where the majority of the Camel fleet depart from daily. This smooth operation takes care of all the kit logistics so you just have to jump aboard and take a giant stride into the water. Two or three tank dives are offered every day with 6:1 divers per guide. Shore diving is also a mere moments from the dive centre. Normally a morning and afternoon guided shore dive is on offer so no matter what your passion, Camel Dive Club and Hotel will tick all the boxes.
As of June 2022 Camel Dive will offer SSI courses for diver training. This includes use of the SSI online training platform, which includes easier access and a more interactive and enriching learning experience. Their digital certification card system is easily accessible both on and offline. Additional features include an easy-to-use logbook where you can log all the details for your dive and share your dives with your dive buddy. All SSI courses are available here with the on site pool for training.
