A couple of hours from Manila and you can be in listening to the water lap the shores at Aiyanar beach and dive resort, Anilao. This is an undeniably stylish resort in the heart of Anilao. The area has become a must dive macro destination in the Philippines, but it is also a superb choice for recreational divers looking to explore reef and even wreck dives, all within easy reach of Manila. There are only 24 rooms at Aiyanar resort, making this a welcoming and intimate resort. They are modern, stylish and have all the creature comforts you will need, including en suite and air con. Please do let us know if you require a twin or double room at the time of booking. The casitas are set back from the sea front, with 2 queen sized beds. The deluxe rooms boast incredible sea views. Fancy treating yourself? Why not stay in the Bella suite. This spacious suite not only has bags of space, wonderful views, but also 2 huge double beds.

Whilst this is a boutique hotel, everything you need to make your stay is on site. The open air dining area and club house are the place to head at the end of a day's diving. Relax with a post dive drink as the sea breeze cools you or have a go in the games room. Tuck into freshly prepared local and international dishes that will delight. The resort's infinity pool looks over the ocean. Or grab a wake board and hit the waves. You can do as much... or as little... as you want here!

Diving Details

Aiyanar is fast becoming a must dive destination in the Philippines, especially for underwater photographers. The sheer range of exceptional and rare macro life below the waves is outstanding. But there is more to see than just critters in Anila ...

Aiyanar is fast becoming a must dive destination in the Philippines, especially for underwater photographers. The sheer range of exceptional and rare macro life below the waves is outstanding. But there is more to see than just critters in Anilao. Glorious coral reefs, sandy slopes and even caves all await.

The dive team at Aiyanar resort have been hand picked to include some of the area's most knowledgeable and experienced dive guides. Many divers here are already certified but there are a range of PADI courses that can be taught on site. The resident photo pro Gill McDonald is on hand to support photographers of all levels. Please ask about the complimentary services that can be added to your dive package.

Most of the marine life around Anilao falls into the macro category. And what macro there is! The nudibranch come in every shape, colour and size., but common place are rhinopia, hairy frogfish, wonderpus and blue ringed octopus. Indeed, many of the special species you might expect in a location like Lembeh can be seen here! But there are also big schools of jacks and at Manit point the currents pick up. Here reef sharks can be seen in the blue. And if you are especially lucky, a whaleshark will cruise past on the deep water currents. No 2 dives are ever the same!

Your holiday details

Save £500 Stylish relaxation in the heart of Anilao at Aiyanar Beach & Dive Resort with world class diving on your doorstep. Our summer special includes 7 nights in a twin deluxe room on an full board basis - optional room grades available, as well as 10 boat dives (2 per day) and free nitrox! Please do ask your travel consultant if you would like to prebook additional diving. Special day trips are organised on site, and kit rental and local park fees (200PHP per day) are paid locally. A return land transfer from Manila airport to the resort is included.

This holiday excludes international flights. Please ask for a quote to add international flights from the UK to your holiday. We can book most major scheduled airlines including regional UK departures to Manila.
