
St Kitts - Covid Travel information
International travel from the UK is prohibited until May 17th. Travel corridors are paused until this point.
On April 12th the UK government will update the rules for travel in 2021.
St Kitts and Nevis is exempt from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advice against all non-essential international travel. This is based on the current assessment of COVID-19 risks.
It is an approved travel corridor. You do not need to self-isolate on your return to England from one of the travel corridor countries, territories or regions
The borders of St Kitts and Nevis re-opened to all non-citizens and non-residents from 31 October
Travellers arriving from the UK will need to complete an entry form on the national website and submit a negative PCR test completed within 72 hours of travel from an accredited laboratory.
On arrival, travellers will undergo a health screening.
There are restrictions in place for the first 14 days of any visit. Travellers will be required to download the St Kitts and Nevis contact tracing mobile app and must stay in approved accommodation.
Travellers must also undergo PCR tests on days 7 and 14 of the visit at their own expense. Full details are on the St Kitts Travel Advisory website, which should be checked regularly. Procedures and requirements may change at short notice.

St Kitts - the location, language, time difference
St Kitts & Nevis is only 10 hours on a direct flight from London. St Kitts is the larger of the two islands, and famous for the postcard perfect beaches. Dramatic mountains pepper the landscape. The island is a bustling mix of Dutch, British, French and local cultures. There are plenty of bars and restaurants, where you can soak up the vibe. Or simply flop onto the beach and enjoy endless sea views.

St Kitts - weather and climate
The daily average temperature is around 25 degrees Celsius in January and February, and 28 °C from June to October, which is the hottest period. The stormiest weather is June to November. Water water temps range from around 26C in Jan-Feb to 29 in Sept-Oct.

How do I get there?
Flights are direct to St Kitts with British Airways from London with around 10 hours flying time. You will then need to fly between St Maarten and St Kitts with a local airline. We are unfortunately not able to redeem airmiles on your behalf. Please do not confirm any flight arrangements yourself before your holiday is confirmed by us.
As the flights are direct to St Kitts, there are no stop over options

Passports and Visas
Passports - Must be valid for 6 months from return date
UK passport holders holders are able to obtain a tourist visa on arrival. Do ensure your passport has 6 months validity from your return date. Preparing to fly
As you are flying with a scheduled airline, you will be able to check in online with your airline. Please visit their website for more information about when online check in opens.
You will be able to manage your booking online once you have been ticketed (after you have paid your holiday balance). Most airlines will now enable you to select your seating at this point. There may be a small charge for prebookable seating before online check in opens. Please speak to the airline for more information about charges.

What happens when I arrive?
On arrival for our St Kitts holidays, you will be met and taken to your liveaboard. Simply make your way to through baggage reclaim and immigrations. Your transfer will be waiting for you with a board with your name or liveaboard. If you have any issues at all locating your rep, please contact us. We have an emergency contact, manned by a member of the team here in the UK. Please call 0044 7747 488 002. We will be able to help your rep locate you in the airport.
We are not able to prepay for transfers in St Kitts. You will be met by a prebooked driver and taken to your liveaboard. This journey usually costs around $20$30 per person per way.
What happens on departure day?
You will usually finish your trip in St Maarten. Disembarkation is after breakfast in the morning. You can leave your bags on board until your departure time for your flight. The crew will assist with a taxi, that needs to be paid for locally. On arrival back in St Kitts, you can wait at the airport until check in opens for your flight back to the UK. The depature tax from both islands is around $25 each.

Some sockets will take UK plugs, otherwise an adaptor for USA and 3 pin round pligs is useful.
