There are so many practical considerations when you are planning a family holiday. Not only do you have to get the right resort that will keep everyone smiling, but budget is a crucial consideration. We make every effort to keep our peak season travel packages brilliant value, but without sacrificing the peace of mind that booking with experts brings. We will keep an eye on the details that can make or break your holiday, such as requesting interconnecting/neighbouring rooms, seating together on a flight or taking care of your airport parking. Our aim is to make your family holiday as stress free as possible from beginning to end.
Diving with the family?
Diving has never been a safe or more enjoyable pastime for all of the family. Kids as young as 8 years old can now get their first taster underwater. Scuba Travel have a network of resorts all over the globe that cater especially well for younger divers. Bubble maker courses are a pool only experience for 8-10 year old. Junior Open water courses (and more) cater for 10 +. And once your young diver is certified the whole family can splash in together. What better way to create memories they will treasure.
Non divers in the family?
Don't despair if the kids are not yet old enough to start blowing bubbles…. or just not keen. Many hotels have a wide range of other activities to keep everyone entertained. Our family friendly resorts also have kids clubs and/or baby sitting services available. Do remember to ask about prices and to let us know if you are planning to use these services as prebooking is important at peak times of the year.

Kayaking, kite making, treasure hunts… these are just some of the fun things they will be up to everyday.

If you are a family of certified divers then why not try a liveaboard. Not only do these offer superb value all around (full board is standard), but it is a wonderful way of everyone enjoying quality diving day after day in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. PADI courses can be taught on board so younger divers can gain more experience in a range of diving specialties with their PADI instructor.
Many of our liveaboards are happy to welcome divers over 12 and above. We do strongly recommend you talk to the travel team about the most suitable itinerary for diver experience levels. We will look to advise on the best options based on diver qualifications. Although all of the crew and guides are true professionals and helpful in the utmost, please be aware that no boats offer baby sitting services. It is also a great idea to bring some DVDs along to keep younger divers entertained between dives.
