Covid Information for Kasai Village Dive Resort

As the pandemic continues to affect us all, we just wanted to reach out and send you our best wishes and also update you with regards to what is happening here in the Philippines and also our exciting REOPENING news here at Kasai Village

We have some very positive news, starting at the beginning of September the majority of the Philippines is now either under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) or General Community Quarantine (GCQ). Travel within the Philippines is still limited; at this time there is no inter island travel allowed, domestic flights are limited (restricted to returning Filipinos only) and international flights are currently suspended.

Specifically in the Province of Cebu, the majority of areas are now under MGCQ, to include Moalboal. MGCQ is the final step before the full easing of quarantine measures and the transition into the "new normal".

Here in Moalboal we are slowly seeing more and more tourist businesses opening up, to include restaurants, bars, cafes etc. and also our wonderful local tourist attractions, to include; diving the world famous sardines and canyoneering at Kawasan falls, to name a few.

Arriving in the province is also made safer at Mactan Cebu International and Domestic Airport. MCIA is ready to serve you by leading the way with its philosophy Your safety is number one, you could not be in safer hands (please see our below webpage link for further details).

Kasai Village Safe Stay Program

Here at Kasai we have implemented a Safe Stay Program. Not only have we fulfilled all the requirements of the Local Government, Department of Tourism and Department of Health, we have also enhanced our services by ensuring that we meet the addition safety protocols and guidelines from DAN, GUE and Moalboal Dive Association. Our fully operational Stay Safe Program will ensure that you have a safe stay while you are with us, please follow this link to find out more about how we are now ready to safely serve you: https://www.kasaivillage.com/covid-19/

With all of this in mind, we are very pleased and excited to announce that we are now ready to open our doors to receive guests at the weekends. For full details of special accommodation and diving promos, available dates, etc. please contact us directly and we will responded as quickly as possible.

We hope that you have found this email informative and interesting. We would very much welcome any updates from your perspective; with regards to how your market is responding at the moment and how you think the future of your market looks. We are acutely aware that the only way forward is for us all to work closely together to ensure that we are all here to offer the best possible customer experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Philippines is around 15-20 hours flight from the UK. Although composed of 7,107 islands (7,108 at low tide), with a total coastline longer than that of the USA, most of the population of the Philippines lives on just 11 islands. Most travellers will enter the Philippines through Manila (MNL) or Cebu (CEB) airports. The reefs are spectacular in the Philippines, with plenty of fish list buzzing around. Moalboal, Bohol and Puerto Galera are all super locations for reef divers. Snorkel with whalesharks in Oslob. Thresher sharks have made Malapascua famous whilst Sangat is wreck heaven. Love macro? Make a beeline for Anilao or Dumaguete. The selection of critters rivals anything you could find in Indonesia.
