Our insurance is sold with a 14 day cooling off period so if you find that the policy does not meet your needs, you can return the policy and receive a full refund so long as you have not traveled or claimed on the policy. If your holiday departs within 14 days of purchasing the insurance then you will not be entitled to a refund.

We have teamed up with Holiday Extras to offer you parking, hotels and airport lounges across the UK. You can now book these services from our website, there are a variety of options available when choosing parking at the airport from meet and greet services to long or short stay parking. The hand baggage allowance will depend on what airline you are travelling with Please remember: hand baggage allowances cannot be increased. If you have too much cabin baggage, you may be asked by your airline to check in any excess in (for a charge at the airport)

Scheduled airlines
eg with Emirates, Qatar, Sri Lankan, Cathay, Singapore, BA, Air Malta, American, United, Delta If you are travelling with a scheduled airline, please refer to their website for up to date information on your cabin baggage allowance.

Charter airlines to Egypt:

With TUI
1 piece of hand luggage of up to 10kg for free. The maximum dimensions of your hand luggage can be 55x40x20cm and you must be able to lift your hand luggage into the overhead storage compartments yourself. Things like laptops, handbags and items bought at the airport must fit within your 1 piece of hand luggage.

With EasyJet
With EasyJet Standard seating, you can bring one small cabin bag per person on board for free. It can be a maximum size of 45 x 36 x 20 cm (including any handles or wheels) and needs to fit under the seat in front of you. Your bag can weigh up to 15kg, but you need to be able to lift and carry it yourself.

Easyjet Upfront
With EasyJet UpFront or Extra legroom seats, you can bring a large cabin bag on board (max. 56 x 45 x 25 cm, including any handles or wheels)

The hold baggage allowance will depend on what airline you are travelling with and your ticket type

Scheduled airlines

Some airlines will charge per kg, some per hold bag and others may offer a special rate for scuba divers.

Charter airlines to Egypt:
With TUI
Your ticket will show the standard 20kgs hold allowance Divers then receive a free 5kgs for showing their dive cards at check in. We are able to prebook an additional 5, 10 or 15kgs on top of this allowance. Please ask a team member for costs and to add this to your holiday

With EasyJet
EasyJet offer a standard hold allowance of 23kgs. Additional baggage can be booked either directly with the airline or via one of our team. Please ask for more information

EU Passport holders and other countries will require a full visa for all our liveaboard charters and shorebased trips to Dahab, Hurghada and Marsa Alam. For our shorebased excursion to Sharm el Sheikh you do not require a visa if you wish to dive only inside the Sinai and the local dive sites. For sites outside the Sinai include Ras Mohammend you will require a visa which can only be obtained on arrival at the airport. For most of our Egypt holidays we can arrange a full Egyptian visa before your departure, please enquire at the time of booking for details.

Tourist visas for 30 days will be issued on arrival only and are free of charge to all visitors in possession of valid travel documents.

When travelling through the United States, you must either travel under the country’s Visa Waiver programme (with an ‘ESTA’), or have a US visa (or be a US citizen).
An ESTA allows you to stay in the US under the Visa Waiver programme for up to 90 days and allows travel to Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean. An ESTA is valid for two years, (or less if your passport expires in that time).

Don’t get caught out at the airport – plan ahead to save both time and money. If you think that your hold baggage will exceed the airlines weight limit, we are more than happy to help you purchase extra and/orexcess baggage in advance of travel.

If you have any dietry requirements please let us know at least 7 days before departure. All our boats and destinations are well equiped and experienced in catering for most needs. If you are worried please don't hessitate to contact us.

Please note that most liveaboards have very limited stock onboard and it's always best to prebook your equipment in advance.
