We just love the combination of stylish relaxation in resort with some of the most exciting muck diving in the Philippines. Dive with Turtles at Apo island, go Dolphin watching in the Tanon straits or grab your bike to explore the region on land. Do as much or as little as you like! The team at Atmosphere prove that luxury holidays need not cost the earth.

There are 6 beautiful room grades for your stay at Atmosphere. All room types have air conditioning, flat screen TV, minibar, complimentary wireless internet, bathrobes, California King size beds with luxurious Egyptian cotton linen, solar heated water, complimentary eco-friendly amenities, as well as fresh fruits, coffee and tea. The Deluxe suites are contemporary, with a bright airy space to relax in. Upgrade to the premium suites for a large open layout bedroom and lounge. If you prefer separate living quarters, why not try the garden apartments. Families and groups will love the family room or pent house options, where up to 4 people can share the accommodation.

The Breeze restaurant sits on an 80 meter long volcanic beach overlooking Siquijor Island and Apo Island. From 6:30amam to 9pm, all day dining is offered. With an open show kitchen you can interact with the chefs. The purpose-built brick oven prepares the best pizzas on the coast and bread to complement our pastas and salads. The selection of Asian and Western dishes has grown to include even more flavours of India, Thailand and of course The Philippines. The Healthy Living menu and Daily Specials are available all day, including vegan and vegetarian dishes, as are our delicious desserts and a separate children's menu. The Ocean restaurant is a fine dining option with stunning views over Apo and Siquijor Island. The menu is available to all guests and can be enjoyed as a special set up on the beach, the treehouse or in Ocean itself. The kitchen, with its glass front, allows you to observe our chefs at work, and you're welcome to indulge in a wine tasting session in the adjacent room with our wine connoisseur. By blending Filipino favorites with classic international cuisine, the promise is a distinctive fine dining experience that will delight your taste buds.

Select from a bed and breakfast, half board or full board package as part of your booking. There's even a special divers menu with swift service, for those who are eager to get back to water as soon as possible. There's a superb wine cellar on site, and once a week you can enjoy a wine tasting and local style beach BBQ night. Thursdays are always popular, thanks to the weekly cocktail party with free round of drinks and live music.

Atmosphere's stunning main infinity pool is 20 meters long and 8 meters wide, the deepest end being almost three meters deep with a gradual slope to the 1.2 meters in the shallow part. The main pool is ideal for laps, lounging and is also used for occasional scuba classes. It is situated by the pool bar with adjacent low sofas and dining tables, which makes it ideal for Happy Hour at 5pm. The second pool is an adult only 24m lap pool and the 3rd pool is a series of shallower pools and water jets - ideal for younger visitors.

The central Shala is The Sanctuary's relaxation and reception area where you can recline and read a book to escape the mid-day sun. The spa is open 9am to 9pm and on offer is a wide range of massage therapies, spa treatments, wellness programs, yoga, and fitness classes. The reef in front of the resort is ideal for snorkelling, and there is a snorkelling map in the dive centre.

Atmosphere provides regular baby-sitting (local charges apply) while guests dive or have a night out at the Atmosphere bar. The baby-sitter will take care of children within the resort area, whether it is in the comfort of the room/apartment or by the pool or beach. Kids' Cove is a kids' club on Atmosphere premises with access to fully equipped play rooms and a playground and has scheduled activities ongoing all days of the week, scuba classes, snorkelling, yoga and spa services, as well as a dedicated Kids Menu in the restaurant.

Martin

Martin Nordin - went with his family to Atmosphere resort in 2019

Having visited a few resorts in the Philippines I must say that Atmosphere is the absolute best one. The staff are attentive, the grounds are very well maintained and most of all, the diving is amazing. We took our 6yr old son and he had an amazing time snorkelling with Turtles at Apo island, and he even saw his first whale shark
Dive centre is open design in the middle of the resort, the guides are well educated and great at spotting. The house reef is one of the most interesting house reefs of any resort I have ever visited. No extra cost for Apo island (a must do).
Three pools and three great restaurants. I could go on and on, but in short: Atmosphere is an outstanding resort and I'll go back in a heartbeat if I could.

Frequently Asked Questions

Location

The Philippines is around 15-20 hours flight from the UK. Although composed of 7,107 islands (7,108 at low tide), with a total coastline longer than that of the USA, most of the population of the Philippines lives on just 11 islands. Most travellers will enter the Philippines through Manila (MNL) or Cebu (CEB) airports. The reefs are spectacular in the Philippines, with plenty of fish list buzzing around. Moalboal, Bohol and Puerto Galera are all super locations for reef divers. Snorkel with whalesharks in Oslob. Thresher sharks have made Malapascua famous whilst Sangat is wreck heaven. Love macro? Make a beeline for Anilao or Dumaguete. The selection of critters rivals anything you could find in Indonesia.

On arrival in your Philippines destination, you will need to clear immigration and collect your baggage. You will then be met outside of arrivals by a representative from your liveaboard or resort. Some reps are able to meet you airside. They will be holding a board with either your destination or your name on it. If you have any issues at all locating your rep, please contact us. We have an emergency contact, manned by a member of the team here in the UK. Please call 0044 7747 488 002. We will be able to help your rep locate you in the airport.

If you have a hotel en route please follow any specific instructions in your travel documents. Where possible, you will be met by a representative who will assist in taking you to your hotel.
