Country entry requirements for Indonesia

This information is for people travelling on a full 'British citizen' passport from the UK. It is based on the UK government's understanding of Indonesia's current rules for the most common types of travel.

To enter Indonesia, your passport must have an 'expiry date' at least 6 months after the date you arrive and have at least 2 blank pages.

Entry Visa:
You MUST have a visa to visit Indonesia
You can get a 30-day visa on arrival (VOA) for tourism. The VOA costs 500,000 Indonesian rupiah, payable in cash IDR or USD. It is valid for single entry only. You must meet passport validity requirements and have a return or onward ticket.

Indonesia arrival card:
Before travelling to Indonesia, fill out the online customs and health declaration on the All Indonesia arrival card website or app within 72 hours of arrival. It is recommended that you complete this form prior to departure to avoid delays when arriving in Indonesia.
