About Movenpick Resort El Quseir
Nestled between sandy mountains and deepest blue seas, and just 87kms from Marsa Alam airport, is the 5 star Movenpick Resort El Quseir - a unique oasis of Egyptian charm and Swiss efficiency. Built in traditional Nubian style, this relaxed resort instantly makes you feel at peace. It's the perfect destination for a laid-back, sun-drenched beach holiday for everyone.
The resort has 250 rooms located in 13 different groups of bungalows. All rooms have air-conditioning, satellite TV, direct-dial phone, internet access, Wifi, safe, hairdryer, and minibar. Chose a superior room with either garden or partial sea view or full sea view. The premium rooms at the centre of all the action in our Premium Garden View rooms which are close to the famous El Quadim Bay house reef, the dive centre and the hotel's dining and entertainment options, with garden, partial sea view, or full sea view options. There are 2 suite styles, available on request - the Junior suite sea view are between 32sqm and 482sm, whilst the Nubian suite sea view is a massive 70sqm. Family rooms sleep up to 4 adults. Non-smoking rooms are available.
Relaxation doesn't mean the same thing to everyone and as such there is plenty to do at the Movenpick el Quesir. For the energetic, the resort offers an array of sporting and leisure activities. Take a quad or mountain bike tour at sundown, go horseback riding at the sea shore or simply take a walk and experience the magnificent solitude of the desert. Chill out on beautiful private sandy beach or be tempted underwater by the stunning coral reef. The myriad of marine life inhabiting the resort's own house reef amazes divers and snorkelers alike. There are no less than 8 bars and restaurants to chose from. The Orangerie serves a lavish buffet, there's open-air dining under the stars at Al Fresco Italian restaurant, fine dining a la carte at Seagulls restaurant or pull up a chair on the beach itself at the Fisherman's hut. There are light lunches and snacks at the dive centre or grab a cool drink to watch the sun go down at the Top of the Rock bar.

Extra Divers dive center is onsite at the 5-star hotel Movenpick Resort El Quseir. Stride out of the centre right onto the fantastic house reef with a deep of maximum 13 meters, before dropping away to over 100 meters. The reef is in its virgin state. Zodiacs are provided for one-way-house reef drops, starting from the jetty, furthermore, trips with modern speedboats and minibuses for day-tours are ready for you.

Extra Divers have a raft of experience diving the many reefs in the area. The multi lingual team of dive professionals teach both PADI and SSI courses. Then you are only moments away from the water. No need for transfers here - the diving really is on your door step.
The sensational house reef is a major attraction for many divers, but there's more to discover around el Quesir underwater. Daily half- and full dive trips are run by minibuses and boat to about 30 dive spots around El Quseir, Marsa Alam and Southern Safaga.
You can even get boat trips to Elphinstone or Salem Express! Snorkellers and non-divers are every time warmly welcome on our trips.

3Pay a deposit to secure it
Typically £500 per person for Red Sea holidays. You then receive your confirmation and ATOL certificate. The balance is usually due 90 days before travel.
