Sea Serpent | Red Sea Liveaboard | Egypt Liveaboard

Designed for cruising speed and stability, Sea Serpent is the ideal liveaboard for visiting the remote Egyptian Marine Parks and St Johns. Sea Serpent Fleet are well known to UK divers, having a run Red Sea liveaboards for many years, and Sea Serpent is a great choice, with regular Port Ghalib and Hurghada departures.

At a generous 34m from bow to stern Sea Serpent sleeps 22 guests. There are 8 lower deck twin cabins and 1 further twin cabin on the upper deck. The main deck also boasts an upper deck double bed cabin as well as the large double suite. Please do ask at the time of booking if you have a particular cabin request. Each cabin has individual air con, mini bar and en suite. You will be provided with a bathrobe and towel for your stay and their is good storage for your bits and bobs. The decor throughout the boat is light and airy, adding to the homely and welcoming atmosphere.

The dive deck on Sea Serpent easily accommodates everyone. Depending on sites, you may be diving directly from the boat or from one of the 2 tender zodiacs. Free nitrox is the final ingredient in a mix for diving perfection. Between dives sit back in the comfortable, generous saloon - watch a movie on the big LCD screen or view your pics. Move up to the sun deck to Egypt's warm weather or relax in the shade. Join your fellow divers for a sundowner when the day's diving is done. It is the quality of service and attention to detail that make Sea Serpent a head above the rest

I would like firstly to thank you and, through you, all those others who contributed to making the Sea Serpent trip (02 to 09 November) so very pleasant, notwithstanding some rather rough weather. The boat is excellent and was well managed by the captain and his crew. The dive guides Essam and Antably were models of efficiency and kindness; the latter quality particularly evident in their assistance to one of the less experienced divers, who was occasionally in need of support and encouragement. The last night in the Marriott was luxury indeed; your kind provision of luncheon there yesterday for the group was particularly appreciated.

Fantastic boat. great food. cabins nice, bathrooms small but clean. staff incredible inc 2 great dive guides...but our last night unfortunately was not on board but due to overbooking by Sea Serpent, we spent it in Ivory Suites which was in a run down area close to Hurghada airport and not a good standard. But we would go back to Sea Serpent !

The boat was a gem - dive deck very good nice TV room on second deck and big outside middle and top decks, the food was excellent. Our room was fine for our needs great to be on middle decks, the bathroom and bedroom was clean etc) . The Crew and Dive guides just absolutely superb. You will need to rename the trip "The Hammerhead Tour". Our group saw eleven Hammerheads , yes eleven of them in one go awesome on Daedalus plus other sharks. So how does this compare with Blue 02 in January it doesn't. You win hands down!! There are diving holidays and there are Scuba Travel diving holidays. You are just SIMPLY THE BEST!!!! Best wishes

Daedalus, Zabagad and Rocky. Could not have picked a better trip for my first live aboard as a single diver. I was a bit apprehensive about traveling on my own, not knowing anyone on the trip but it turned out to be a fantastic holiday. The boat, crew, guides and other divers were fantastic, making it a special experience. Many thanks to Kati whose briefings were fun and informative and who guided us to the Hammerheads and Grey Reef Sharks. Can't wait for my next trip with Scuba Travel.

We had Mohammed and Chris our dive guides. They were both extremely professional. Worked together to always provide varied levels of dive guiding. Mohammed especially provided myself and my buddy extremely interesting and detailed tours of the wrecks! including parts I had never seen before! The crew were also very very friendly and the chef Hamed was a real character! Everyone on the boat had an awesome time!

Hi Gabby and Maria. Just wanted to thank you again for the brilliant time we had on the Sea Serpent trip (28th April-4th May). Your enthusiasm and energy were amazing. You obviously love what you do and are a credit to your profession. The way you ran the dive operation was first class, the briefings were informative and thorough, your knowledge was most impressive and the help you gave was appreciated by everybody. Have a safe season and I really hope to dive with you both again.

Just a quick thank you for making such a memorable diving holiday for us all. The diving was, as expected, excellent. The quality of accommodation, service and food on Sea Serpent was, if anything, even better than the trip to St Johns that we made at the same time last year. The dive guides, Hany and Walid, were knowledgeable, professional and added just the right amount of humour at the right times. The crew couldn't have looked after us better. Your reps and the transfers were efficient. I'm trying to think of anything that could be improved but I can't so I'll leave it at that. Needless to say, Scuba Travel will be our preferred choice for future trips.

Hello, i am just writing to thank everyone on the Sea Serpent (15th-22nd July) for a fantastic week. Hanny and Sam were outstanding guides and really made the trip for all on board. The crew were attentive and very helpfull at all times and the catering guys were fantastic also. We saw just about everything in the water there was to see, and for that both guides deserve special praise. Please could you, on behalf of my wife Jackie an i, pass on my thanks to the whole staff on board and i look foward to another trip on board with the Sea Serpent Fleet. Thank You.

Alison, Just got back from the trip this morning. Had a great time with some spectacular diving. The guides were good and very knowledgeable of what could be found at the various dive sites. The one night at the hotel is also ideal as it gives you time to sort out, wash and dry your dive gear before the trip home. Many thanks again for all your help. I hope to travel again with you soon.
