This was my first and definitely not last trip to see sharks with Epic Diving. Spent six fantastic days with Debra and Vincent enjoying a great company of tiger sharks in Grand Bahama and great hammerheads in Bimini. Epic Diving provides the ultimate experience one will never forget. They are the best operator in the area, very competent and reliable. They are the best at ensuring divers' safety underwater and taking good care of sharks. The boat is very comfortable and spacious. I think we all appreciated bean bags on the way back after a few hours in the water. ;) I will definitely recommend Epic Diving to anyone interested in diving with big apex predators and as I said this is definitely not my last trip with this great team!
Nassau (NAS) is around 9 hours direct flying time from London. Indirect services take longer. From Nassau you can connect with local flights to several islands. The Bahamas is a scuba diving paradise, with breathtaking dive sites offering pristine reefs, multitudes of exciting wrecks, blue holes, spectacular walls and the chance to dive with dolphins and sharks. It's also got great life surface side, with pristine beaches, plenty of restaurants and bars and a fabulous place to while away the hours enjoying the Caribbean sunshine.

Shark diving can be one of the most exhilarating experiences you can have underwater, but it is vital that you do so with experienced operators who have the local knowledge and set up to make the dive safe ad enjoyable. Epic Diving are shark diving specialists, who have helped divers and photographers come face to face with some of the planets most impressive predators.
When you join Epic diving, you will board the MV Thresher, a custom built dive boat. Although she can accommodate up to 24 divers, groups are kept to between 10 and 12 divers, to ensure everyone has plenty of space, both on board and underwater! Please be aware - this is a shark feeding experience.
The attraction in Bimini is great hammerheads. Usually elusive, a controlled shark feed bring them right up to your camera lens! Between January and March then come into Bimini's sandy shallows. This means you can enjoy your encounter in shallow warm water. There can also be reef, nurse or bull sharks! There is no set time limit for each dive. Jump in an away you go.
If you pre-book your diving as part of a holiday package with Scuba Travel you can take advantage of our special rates and make considerable savings on your dive package or dive course at Bimini Big Game Club and Epic Diving.

Epic diving will provide the ultimate shark encounters with safety. I've been on multiple trips with owner/operators Debra and Vincent Canabal for tiger sharks, great hammerheads and oceanic white tips. Their experience and track record speak volumes; but the ultimate is to see them interact with the sharks. You can feel the love and respect they have for these amazing and beautiful creatures of the sea. This is obvious in how the sharks interact with them as well. I'm an underwater photographer so I appreciate his and can see it in my images. Needless to say, I will be back!
