With crystal clear water, calm seas and bountiful marine life, who could resist the lure of the sea in Grand Cayman? The East End of Grand Cayman is something of a diving mecca to boot as the reefs are in fabulous condition and the walls drop away to dizzying depths. The diving is quite distinct on the east side of the island. And who better to explore this all with than Ocean Frontiers.
The warm water and incredible viz make this, combined with Ocean Frontier's flexible approach, an ideal choice for anyone wanting to learn to dive. This is an award winning team that will get you through from your first breaths underwater right through to PADI instructor. The onsite pool is the deepest freshwater pool on the island - perfect for honing those skills before you jump to boat diving.
Ocean Frontiers pride themselves on being a thoroughly modern dive centre with a generous helping of old fashioned Caymanian hospitality. The service here is described as a "dive valet" - you hardly need lift a finger during your stay. Just let this 5* PADI team sort all your gear (they will even wash it for you!) while you get down to enjoying the diving. Dive groups are kept small and all diving is from the custom built dive boats that departs from the jetty right in front of the hotel. The boats depart on 1, 2 or even 3 tank dive days, heading out to one of the 55 dive sites (dive them all for the Green Short challenge!). Great diving need not be hard work!
