Scuba Travel offers the Naia Central Fiji itinerary from January - July and September - December.

Embarkation
Naia departs from Lautoka harbour, Viti Levu island

Trip Duration
The Naia Central Fiji itinerary runs for either 7 or 10 days, with 6.5 and 9.5 days diving respectively.

Arrival
You will be met on arrival from your international flight and taken directly to the boat. This is a land transfer to the Lautoka harbour and takes approx 30-40mins. Settle into your cabin, set up the dive gear and meet your fellow passengers. Depending on the group arrival times, you may depart from the harbour this evening or early the next.

Namena marine reserve
Save a Tack passage is closely associated with Jacques Cousteau - it was reportedly his favourite site in Fiji. Save a Tack has it all, but you need the experience of Nai'a crew to make sure you dive it when the currents are just right. Vast schools of big fish hang on the edge of the reef wall. Barracuda are ever present, giving way to the reef sharks. White tips rest on the sandy ledge. As the currents carry you through the channel, coral drenched bommies appear. You can dive this area several times and never experience the same sights! For this reason it is a popular repeat dive on Nai'a!

Gau
Cat's Meow, Humann Nature and Undeni'able are 3 sites that Nai'a have named and pioneered themselves. The guides often consider them 3 of the best sites in Fiji, and if you love corals, you will be in heaven! These are sheltered from the swells and currents. While away the hours as you weave between the coral heads. Sheer bliss!

Bligh Water
E6 is a sheer sea mount rising sharply in the middle of Bligh WAter's narrowest pass. Huge amounts of nutrients are forced through E6 each day, making it a haven for marine life. Sharks are usually found on either side of the pinnacle, whilst sea fans waft gently in the lee of the current. Keep your eyes peeled for hammerheads or eagle rays. Giant cuttlefish are common here, but it is also excellent for macro life. Leaf fish and a wide range of nudibranchs make this a popular dive with photographers.

Mount Mutiny is similar to E6, but there is the added bonus of the Rainbow Wall. Here thin soft corals blanket the south side as far as the eye can see. The impact of these colooured soft corals is breath taking and a real highlight.

Disembarkation
You will have breakfast on board on your final day. You will then have an air conditioned transfer back to Nadi airport to catch your international flights home or to continue your adventure in Fiji.
